This cafe was stunning. Situated in a historic old building overlooking downtown Omaha, this cafe has a stunning industrial AND historic vibe. My pumpkin chai was one of the best I've had in a long time. They also had (free) matcha orange water which was very interesting. Many choices of seating as well. Very top-notch service as well.
Highly recommend this stunning location.

Was absolutely the perfect place for our wedding! Can't say enough good things about working with Emily from the first meeting we had to the day of the wedding. She was such a great help with suggestions and always promptly answering my questions during the planning process. I knew we were in good hands come the day of the wedding. She made sure everything ran very smoothly and even conducted a quick guest shoe repair right before the ceremony! Café Postale is such a unique and beautiful space! We're so happy we found it!

We were married at Cafe Postale this October, and I have nothing but positive things to say about it. Emily is what made our day SO very special - she was so easy to communicate with and went above and beyond, completely exceeded our expectations. Thank you, Emily & the rest of the Cafe Postale staff for all of your hard work to make our day perfect! ♥

Cafe Postale was a dream venue for our intimate wedding! The space it self is absolutely breathtaking and unique. The huge widows that overlook downtown, the beautiful brick walls, the incredible patio space and all of the history made the perfect backdrop for our dreamy day. Emily, the event coordinator, was incredible to work with. She was incredibly prompt in all of her responses and had answers to all of my crazy questions. The day of the wedding she and her team worked so hard to transform the space so that we did not have to do anything but relax and enjoy our day. I cannot say enough about how much we loved our experience at Cafe Postale.

Extremely charming atmosphere and ambience. Decent food and service. I plan to go back many times. I had the lavender latte made with oat milk. It was good- a bit too sweet for my taste. I also had the keto breakfast casserole. It was okay. I really wanted overnight oats but by lunch time they had run out which is to be expected and hopefully that's a sign that they are good. I look forward to finding out.

Amazing! Wonderfully slow and romantic feel to the building (bust fast service!) and the value for the coffee and food (the hummus and spinach dip plates were especially impressive!). How is this place not slammed?! Go now before everyone discovers this gem!

Location and space are wonderful. An old post office has been given life as an attractive cafe.
The use of an old building gets a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ rating.
The water flavored with lemon and lavender at the counter was spot on. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
For a coffee, tea, or water this is a great spot.
We came for breakfast. The review is based on that.
Breakfast food items are not prepared on site. Poorly executed and not seasoned very well at all. Reminded me of airport food service, but with a better price. No seasonings, salt or pepper accessible without asking. ⭐
Ordered tea with honey. No honey came and had to go to counter to ask. ⭐⭐
Food didn't come for a while and staff came and asked if we could remember what we ordered. Those aren't big items, but the attention to detail with service wasn't high level. ⭐⭐
One of the staff came to table to give wife service in response to request. She was very friendly. ⭐⭐⭐⭐
If I was trying the place for breakfast, it wouldn't be for the food items.
Location and setting are outstanding.

I was skeptical because it seemed to be another aesthetic cafe spot but its pretty good!. The interior is very lovely and pleasant.
I ordered the Fried chicken mac and cheese and the Ice matcha rose. The food is very good. But the Matcha rose is a little water down.
They have a big menu for drink and food. I see mostly sandwich being served. Which is great too. But I dont usually eat sandwich for breakfast. Maybe they should serve pancakes and stuff ?
I would have give it 5 stars if it wasnt for the water down ice matcha rose and the fact there is no air conditioner -_-. Imagine on the hottest day, I probably sweat sitting inside.
I would come back here again for sure. Other than that, Im hoping they consider having an air conditioner to make the air less humid and hot inside. I would also like to try other drink to see how are their performance. Really hope other drink is not as bad as the one I got. After this is a cafe.

I am a huge fan of Cafe Postale both as a venue and a great place for a cup of coffee.Let’s start with the venue side of things. Wowwww! I could not have asked for a better wedding reception location for this intimate wedding I photographed. My couple loved every moment of planning with them and it was the perfect back drop for photos too. They were super accommodating to both the guests and the couple. They made sure all the vendors were fed too which was nice of them. I cannot recommend this location enough. As a coffee shop, this is one of my favorites in Omaha. The baristas are so sweet and kind, extra shout out to Abby who is there often! They make the best dirty chai in town and are always attentive. The has always been ample seating, the wifi is fast and reliable, and there are outlets every where.
This is such a gem for Omaha!!!

Delicious! I had the Everything Bagel Sandwich with a lavender latte and my husband had the Chicken and Waffle Sandwich with a chai tea oat milk latte. It came out quickly and warm.
