Amateur Coffee

A really fun coffee shop with a great selection of warm and cold drinks. The London Fog is one of the best drinks I’ve ever had. They also supply Modern Love with coffee and you can buy their specific blend there, so we definitely did that, and it’s amazing, too.

So many great coffee shops in Omaha, and this is another one of them. I had a orangecinni latte on the seasonal menu and it was so delicious I ordered a second to-go. My to-go latte came in a glass jar with a sweet unique lid that I will definitely be able to reuse. After reading more about to shop later, I learned that they use oat milk as a dairy substitute in all of their drinks. So many surprises! I will be visiting more often.

Love this all-vegan coffee shop! The quality of the coffee is incredible and their oat-milk lattes are excellent. Thanks for opening this shop and helping to support and grow the Vegan community in Omaha.

This coffee parlor is ran by amazing folks who make wonderful product and really invest in the community. The seating area is smaller but very cute and cozy, all to go drinks are in reusable jars and the whole cafe is vegan. I love this place and I definitely recommend going there

I just stumbled upon this place while driving so I pulled over to try it and was SO impressed. Such a cool place and really good price for a small, local business with good quality product. Plus I love the reusable jar to-go cups. 10/10 recommend

If you haven’t been here, you need to go!!! They are so welcoming and friendly. I have enjoyed the Teas and the juices! Absolutely amazing! This is a one of a kind place in Omaha. Check it out you will not be disappointed!

Fantastic! At Last!! I can't thank them enough for being Open in Omaha!! Omaha, Amateur Coffee is worth supporting. Each detail of the experience has been joyfully implemented. From shape and thickness of each type of glass or dish to the stripey paper straws. And the vegan treats are a taste phenomenon. They are all vegan. And several also GF/nut free. And coffee, I didn't think it was possible but Amateur Coffee has me "loving something more" about you, too. ..

This place has always been overpriced but now they can’t even staff it. Turns out $12 for a latte in a glass jar means they’re paying their employees $10 to make like 20-50 of these an hour. No wonder everyone walked out.

Pro: coffee is fantastic. I think everything is vegan (?) and I did not miss the cow's milk in my latte at all.

Con: gluten-free and vegan waffle is sticky and tastes like vegetables. If your intestines and ethics require you to consume vegan and gluten-free things, then I am really glad for you that this place exists, because it's probably the best waffle you're going to be able to get. But general omnivores might want to go elsewhere.

Just a thing I wish I would've known: don't bring your baby. There's nowhere for someone without the core strength of an adult to sit, and you'll have to change them on the bathroom floor, which is kind of gross.

Our last stop before heading back to Kansas City. It is definitely somewhere to come back to. The coffee was excellent. We really appreciate their use of reusable coffee cups. This concept would do very well back home.
