Very nice place, true vintage western American atmosphere. The owner's very nice and gave me a tour of the place which was an old bank.
There's a free billiard and plenty of comfy seats. The back room is not rowdy so that's a very good place to stay. Plus the WiFi is very good and free.

I couldn't believe how neat this little Cafe was. My wife and I were looking for a nice place to have lunch in this out of the way Nebraska town. We drove all around the town of Chadron and saw a few people in this little store front. So we decided to stop in. If I lived in Chadron, I would go there for lunch or breakfast every day. The options were minimal but it didn't matter, the food was great, not just good but really great. The service staff was extremely friendly and helpful. This place is one of the most comfortable places I have ever enjoyed a meal. Even though we are traveling, I plan to stop there for breakfast before we leave the area.

Amazing. We stopped on a cross country trip and it did not disappoint!! Amazing frittata, and the cocktail list at the pub was obviously thought out and crafted. We had the pleasure of meeting owners Dave and Paige and they were a pleasure to talk to and even gave us tips on our upcoming trip to Lake Mac.
100% worth the stop.

Great fast customer service with a laid back easy going environment. Will definitely be going back.

The Bean Broker is an amazing social hub/coffee house located in several rooms on the entire ground floor of a stately old bank building in the small Nebraska panhandle town of Chadron. The coffee offerings and baked goods are world class. The meals rival any you would find in any large metropolitan area. The smoked salmon Caesar salad combo is my favorite. The wine and cocktail offerings are superb. Check out the delicious hors d’oeurves. The specialty pizzas of several varieties are crafted and grilled fresh in house and are served on a wooden spatula and easily feed two or three people. My wife and I couldn’t finish one.
If you’re interested in live music you can find a variety of musical offering as well. There is an open mike night once a week.
The atmosphere and ambiance is uptown with a small town feeling. The staff a friendly and welcoming. If your lucky Toddy the bean cat will sit on you lap and solicit a petting or Izzy the small cute dog will offer you some love. This place is very pet friendly.

I don't leave this review lightly. I get that businesses need to be profitable as I have worn these shoes myself. We scheduled a shower and we're quoted a fee that we felt was high but acceptable. I arrived twenty minutes early to decorate and when it came time to take care of the bill we were told there would be an additional $100 for coming in early. We were the only people in the building the entire time we were there. The room we were in was very hot so we were given a fan and told we could open an outside door but that would just let the hear in. Sorry, no AC. Drinks were very expensive but good. Overall it's a really nice place but the attitude of taking every penny they can get without concern for guest comfort...will find someplace else next time.

We were driving through on our way to South Dakota. This place is excellent! They have great iced coffee, I tried the mint cream. We also tried the Panini of the day ham and pineapple. That was excellent as well. The service was fast and super friendly. If you are driving by I would suggest stopping and trying this place.

An absolute jewel of a coffee shop! Stopped in for a light dinner while staying in Chadron for a couple of days and couldn't have been more pleased. Good coffee and the food is excellent (definitely save room for dessert). Loved the atmosphere and there's plenty of seating. My only complaint is that it's 3 hours away 😉.

Delicious coffee and a cool environment. I love seeing the old banks and what the new businesses do with them, especially when you can see the old vault spaces. It really made me think the first time I saw one. What would you do with a vault from a bank if you had one?

This place has a bar and coffee bar best of both worlds. Friendly bartenders and Barista's. I recommend when needing a coffee or a place to enjoy a drink. The lunch menu changes everyday.
