A MUST for anyone in Helena (visitors or residents). I have always loved this place!

The Gen Merc is the best! Best drinks and best baristas!

Coffee is good. I watched a waitress yell at a customer for asking for a drink on loan. I figured a simple no would have sufficed. She yelled at him for 5 minutes for asking, then complained about him for the next 30 minutes. The next day I went in and I was told to take my coffee to go because I pulled out an iPad. The business was completely empty, and I had it out for 3 mins. No need for attitude. I even asked for a second latte. Was denied because I kept my iPad on the table. Not on, not playing anything just on table. “Sending the wrong message” is what I was told? Dude it’s a coffee shop.

Definitely the best place to shop in Helena Montana. THE place to bring someone from out of state/town to show them the best parts of the city. I only wish I was still young enough to climb into the watch tower. I mean seriously?? That's just cool! The store's theme is unusual items along with the secondary theme of "Standing up for what's right" All the pins and stickers they sell are empowering. It feels so homely. There's not many stores where you feel like you're on an adventure but this one definitely does!!

My wife and I make a point to get our coffee from here every time we are in Helena. Great place to pick up gifts. I just wish they had better MT stickers. My son, nieces and nephews love coming here. Reminds me of the penny store I used to go to on the walking mall as a child. Their coffee is fantastic. Paid Parking is their down point but worth it.

This is a great little curio shop and Espresso Café. The staff are as interesting as the merch. This is a bastion of progressiveness in a Montana town that supports it. If you are a conservative, you will doubtless be less impressed than i.

Great staff that aims to please through coffee, tea, and interesting merchandise that you AND your children will love; you can spend 5 minutes getting a coffee to go, or a couple hours catching up with a friend while keeping kids entertained.

Fun spot to shop, tables and cubbies in various spots with more privacy. No Wi-Fi. Great coffee.

Friendly staff, unique atmosphere and merchandise. A great place to stop and shop for gifts while grabbing a great tasting cup of coffee. Whether it's their selection of teas, soaps, or doodads, or even their Front Street Market selection of salsas and other jarred goods, they've got something for everyone. And you're sure to find something to have a chuckle at while meandering through.
