Cute little bakery with also jelly, honey, eggs, clothing items. There Huckleberry cinnamon roll was amazing! Great coffee too! The lady working the counter was pleasant and easy to talk to you as we're traveling and not from Idaho. Highly recommend!
Stopped in especially to try the Huckleberry Cinnamon Rolls. Really disappointed. They were quite dry? The English Toffee is one of the best I've ever eaten! The cookies are also quite good. Nice atmosphere. We'll stop by next trip to MT.
It was only a few months ago that I moved to Montana wife my wife. One of the unique things I kept seeing had to be Huckleberry. Smoothies, syrups, all sorts of things. But it wasn't until I was in Darby one day that I happened to see a sign for Huckleberry cinnamon rolls. I love cinnamon rolls, so I had to stop and try these. I spoke to a gentleman named Chris who was more than happy to tell me about the rolls as well as their vast array of home made chocolates. I was so glad to see samples of the chocolates, and I had to try each. They were well balanced in flavor and texture. They rivaled some of the best chocolates I have eaten. As for the cinnamon rolls, they were very good with a Huckleberry icing that complimented the rolls quite well. The 4 pack was quickly devoured. I must add my wife loved their English toffee, I got her for Valentines day. We will return to try more items. This place is a treasure for Darby.
This little coffee shop is a little treasure. The coffee is great. They make fresh muffins, cupcakes, scones, an cinnamon rolls. Along with there hand made chocolates that are wonderful. Also beautiful pottery made locally an honey too. You also have to check out the Hand made soaps, fresh eggs, handmade purses, scarves, hats, and tshirts that are adorable. An last even jewelry. It's a must stop an see.
Being the cinnamon roll cotnnesiour that I am, I immediately had to try the huckleberry cinnamon roll. They all looked phenomenal except for one. You could tell that particular roll was from the day before because it was 1/2 the size & crusty af compared to the glistening others. The barista proceeded to choose the sad little roll. Fast forward just touching the thing, it felt like a baseball, so after breaking into the middle with force. I tried to take a bite and it was just as hard as the outside. A place like this should know better than to serve a customer yesterday’s old hard dry rolls. It’s not worth it to disappoint a customer when you can clearly see the frostings rock hard. Not worth upsetting customers to make a dollar. Sad that this was my first experience here. Will definitely not be returning. Ever. Cold brew taste like watered hot coffee poured over ice.
We absolutely love Barbara's chocolates!! We love them so much that we send them to all of our restoration clients as a special thank you for trusting us to put their homes back together after disastrous water damage. Thank you Barbara for helping us put smiles on our client's faces after a very stressful time in their lives. And oh how they love them! I am writing this review from our whole team and also on behalf of our many, many client's who just rave about your chocolates, to us. Thank you for being such a special partner to our business.
I had a $6 turkey with stuffing sandwich on a sourdough roll. Not a lot of turkey and the dressing was mushy. The chocolate with orange candy bar I had was excellent! I say stick with the confections.
Their huckleberry cinnamon rolls were absolutely incredible. Not too sweet and exceptionally flavorable. Easily a place we will have to visit again and again.
By the way of Priority Mail what a nice introduction to Darby's hidden treasure. My wifes brother sent a box of truffles for holidays. I dont really care for chocolate but this was ever so different. If you have any questionable tastebuds then you've never tasted pure essence. Looking forward to a future mail delivery. Continued success.
