Staggering Ox

This place is a vibe all it’s own. I had the Pizza Melt and my wife had the Countess. Her exact quote “That was delicious! I’m so glad I got it!” Try the raspberry ranch and their extra large cookies 🤤 phenomenal staff that treated us with so much kindness. 5 stars just isn’t enough.

So glad we discovered this gem on a road trip. Excellent customer service. They even gave us some cookies and a sticker. Kiddo really enjoyed the pizza rounds (sans the pepperoni) off the kids menu. Teriyaki bowl was a solid healthy option and my sandwich was so tasty dipped in raspberry ranch sauce. (A must try)

I was passing through Butte on a road trip and wanted to eat local. I ordered the Isis Crisis. The bread was soft and fresh and delicious. Good vibes in the restaurant with cool artwork. Lots of really good options on the menu. Hopefully I’ll be back in Butte again so I can try so more options.

I got the 406 and got my son the sticky fingers kids meal. His was bread guts you could put jelly and peanut butter on. My sandwich had a whole bunch of meats and cheeses it was awesome! Chipotle ranch was a perfect spice level too!

Good food, fun themed interior with a cozy yet electric atmosphere.

I got the special, a Jamaican Jerk (Chicked breat, bbq sauce, mango salsa and pepper jack cheese...) with the special cheesy bread. I loved it!

Staggering Ox in Butte Montana is amazing! Unique sandwiches with amazing breads and sauces. The Flatfoot Turkey Melt and Ox Fingers are so good! Great atmosphere. Excellent service from Shanda! She explained the sandwich choices, gave recommendations and was very nice to all customers. Thanks for a great lunch!!

We placed our order online, and SPECIFICALLY typed in NO LETTUCE on 2 of our 4 sandwiches. I get up there to pick up the order, and was promptly ignored by 3 different employees before a 4th asked if I had been helped yet. I get to my in-laws house only to find out that ALL 4 sandwiches have lettuce on them. Because of a medical situation, one of the sandwiches absolutely couldn’t have lettuce. Customer service was a zero as was the ability to follow simple instructions. We loved staggering ox in Missoula, but they closed. I will never visit this location again, and suggest to anyone reading this that the sandwiches are great, but check your order before you leave if you order to go.

The art in the building makes this place so interesting as it is with their unique sandwiches! I ordered the "ISIS Crisis" clubfoot and reminded me of a really good gyro but with a uniquely delicious soft bread like a burrito! Their Cucumber Dill or "Camel Spit" sauce was refreshing and paired well with that sandwich. Very friendly and patient service as well. Love this place and would highly recommend.

Stopped here while we're in montana. Was pleasantly surprised with the food. There was one girl working cashier and Grill and doing everything and she was absolutely amazing.
