I ate here a few times during my stay in Warsaw. Modestly priced home-cooked food in a warm, welcoming environment. Service was excellent. This was a highlight of my trip to Missouri, an absolute gem. Nothing else to add. God bless!

Amazing people and food! Next time I'm in the area hiking I'm definitely coming back!

Warsaw has a gem with this restaurant. The inside is gorgeous, the food was divine and the service was courteous and swift. Everyone sported a friendly smile and I can’t wait to go back. Their hours are generous, too. What’s not to love?❤️

Very cute place. The restaurant is located right along the landing, overlooking the water. A plaque outside says it was originally a historic hotel. Walking inside, the place has been restored and everything is beautiful wood. The bar was beautifully restored. I roamed around a little bit and there are three levels of seating with a large seating area upstairs for groups. There is also seating outside that overlooks the water. This is a deli or sandwich shop, but don't expect it to be a grocery store deli. The sandwiches consist of artisan bread, top-notch deli meats and cheeses. The only burger you're going to find on the menu is vegan. We also tried the soup of the day which was tomato basil and would definitely get that again. Everything appears to be made from scratch. I will definitely add this to a place to return when we're back in the area.

This year has been rough for everyone. I was especially sad to hear that this place had closed and stayed closed from sometime in March all the way through the first week of November. After about six months of some friends telling me to try the place, the Yellow Deli rebranded and opened it's welcoming doors again. I approached not quite knowing what to expect. I was greeted by soft smiling faces, soothing instrumental music and the aroma of fresh herbs and home cooked meals. It felt like I had been stuck in the cold harsh winter of the Covid pandemic, and the Yellow Deli wrapped a blanket around me and sat me by the fire. Now for the food; they specialize in freshly made deli sandwiches, hot and cold. If you feel you need a little something else, you can take your pick of the handcrafted daily soup specials. I've tried 4 of their 6 hot sandwiches. Honestly, it's impossible to go wrong with whichever you choose, and they do have vegan options as well as a make-your-own choice! Between the calming atmosphere, soothing comfort food, and warm personalities of the staff, this place will become a staple in anyone's restaurant itinerary. It surely is my favorite in the Warsaw area.

Excellent bread and sandwiches. 24 hours except Friday 3 to Sunday noon, the hours are correct!

What a great find. We have been in Warsaw visiting a sister twice this month and stopped here for lunch both times. We all four enjoyed our meal and we all four split a piece of cream cheese pie. Next time I will have them box half lunch so I have room for a whole piece of pie. It is a beautiful place and it's so clean it shines. Another wonderful thing is every person there had a beautiful smile and are happy to see you. A beautiful place.

Rainy Sunday. Came in at the 12 noon just as they opened. There was no one when I pulled up, but people just appeared in the time it took me to get out of the car and to the door.
I was politely grayed and shown you a tablein the back where I could look out pay the deck to the waterfront.
The menu is pleasant and reasonably priced.
I ordered Cup of French Onion (soup of the day), half a chef salad, the Deli Rose sandwich, and the Common Ground to drink.
The soup and salad came out fairly quickly and soon after my drink.
The soup was hot but not scolding, just prefect for warming up from the rain. The salad was just as good, diced meats vs. slices which makes for a good balance per bite.
The sandwich took a little longer, but understandable as those who came in robs the same time as me included tables of 8 and 10.
The sandwich was a little soggy, but workable and very tasty. As was the Common Ground.
1st impressions lead me to say, I will definitely be back.

Wonderful place to eat. We go here quite often for lunch. Country Ranch is the best sandwich. Great root beer too.
