Finally decided to check this place out and I'm so glad that I finally got the chance to. Black owned, ethically sourced coffee, great vibes, amazing prices, and amazing service. I also forgot my card at home but they were able to accept a payment through CashApp. I'm more of a tea person than coffee but I'll be back!
You should drop in for a nice, fresh cup of coffee from a good variety of roasts and origins. It's inside an art gallery, so there's plenty to look at and engage with visually. And there's always some bright conversations tying everyone together. I take my coffee black most times, but there are some variations. And some small baked goods that are always good. Plus, they often have bags of the whole coffee beans they've sourced and are currently brewing available for purchase.
Black coffee is one of my absolute fav places to get coffee and relax! From the vibes, the music, and the flavor. The owner really makes you feel at home with great customer service and a lovely personality! Everything is great there iced or hot and don't get me started on that lemonade!!!!
Black Coffee is a warm and inviting spot that is not only relaxing but also thought provoking. When you walk through the door you feel the sense of community without anything being said which is so genuine. Sometimes life moves fast, faster than we like and black coffee is a great place to slow down.
I LOVE Black Coffee. The coffee is very simple but of very high quality and exactly what I'm looking for. Also everyone is so friendly and sweet. It is just a generally great vibe and I'm so glad that they opened on my block! Just what we need!
Amazing experience. I love the concept of the business. It is simple but beautifully implemented. It's a wonderful place for coffee drinkers who want to escape and gain some serenity. The owner is extremely nice and professional. I have found my new hangout spot.
Awesome spot paired with the Luminary exhibit [when there's an installment] and it's chill - which I appreciate when I meet with friends or need a spot to do some work.
I appreciate Aloha's care with her service and her intention in curating her coffee collection of ethically sourced beans.
Aloha, the owner and barista, knows so much about each roast and has such a wonderful light. She really cares and it shows, the coffee is some of the best coffee I’ve ever had.
I moved to St Louis from Seattle 9 months ago and have been on the hunt for great coffee since. Hands down, this was the BEST cup of coffee I have had since moving here. I will return- often!
So excited this spot opened up - I’ve already become a regular. The staff are sooo warm and welcoming, coffee is strong, cookies are delicious. Gonna try the black lemonade next. Can’t recommend enough!
