ZINC Coffee

Online ordering and drive through (or up as it is just a side door) works so well I have never been inside but the takeaway (sry) is that it is great! Good selection and onyx coffee brand has always turned out great. The staff are prompt to come greet your car outside and courteous . They have a menu outside while you wait. Recent breakdowns of equipment and lack of repairs and supplies didn’t stop them from quickly offering reasonable alternatives. They allow personal cups as well. No hazelnut flavor unfortunately and couldn’t really taste the vanilla flavor, but the coffee flavor was on point. Keep it up ZINC.

A brand new coffee house in a former service station, this place is fairly unique among cafes. Coffee quality was very good, service very friendly, with a Rewards system. There's several pastry choices, lots of seating options, and an outdoor patio under the former service canopy. My knocks on this place is the lack of parking, the confusing "drive thru" side door, and the difficult to find service counter. I think the intent was for folks to enter through the overhead garage doors, which apparently open during good weather. If you find a spot to park on the side street, you'll enjoy this place.

Favorite coffee spot in Joplin. I love that they serve coffee and beer. Nice open seating and friendly staff. Best quality brewed coffee I've had in a long time.

Great coffee. Great staff. Great feel of the coffee shop. I just tried it for the first time. We were greeted as soon as we walked in. The door was held for us as we left. I spilt my coffee in the parking lot right after my first sip. Another staff member brought me another one after she saw what had happened. I am very picky on my coffee and this place did not disappoint. I am all about locally owned coffee shops with that coffee shop feel. It's what I always look for everywhere I travel no matter how far. I would definitely reccoment this place. Thank you for the new coffee. Money well spent here. I will be back for sure!

I am in Joplin for 1 week and found Zinc Coffee my first day. I will return daily. If you love coffee you need to go. If you want to learn about coffee Zinc is the place. Try the Pour Over - Ethiopia blend. The taste is Amazing !!

Wonderful coffee, not too sweet, not too bitter! Super friendly staff and don;t let the exterior fool you. The inside is spacious, inviting and warm. A new favorite in Joplin!

Zinc is always the best. I make a stop at the drive-thru every time I'm in town for a grocery pickup.

The Americanos are great, the different teas are fantastic (I've tried 4 so far and haven't found one I don't like) and they're so patient with me when I order drinks 4 at a time. I'm so glad such a great coffee shop exists and that they've been able to avoid the COVID.

I honestly like this place for the most part - but had a strangely unpleasant experience with one of the female staff members who was a little rude. She made the drink to go when we had told them we were staying - then had an unpleasant vibe upon returning the re-made drink. Normally stuff like this doesn't bother me, but I've worked customer service for a long time, and unpleasant interactions like that stick out in a place this small and local.

Very cool vibe and clean interior! I love that they serve their drinks with a metal straw. Everyone in the coffee shop appeared to be a college student studying. Open and roomy with lots of natural sunlight, a great place to get work done!
