The type of place where you walk in and think, "no way is a place this cool in a little town." Which is an impolite thought but it's where we were.

Staff was patient with us and our noisy kids.

Food was excellent. Coffee was excellent.

Large building that would fit quiet studying or a group catching up. It's now on our list to visit whenever we're in Hannibal.

Nice place, very eclectic. Coffee is excellent and the apple fritter was very large... plenty of seating for groups and couples. Very cool selection of items. I did have a hard time reading through the many menu items, I have a hard time seeing though and they were very busy. This is a very popular place in town. Oh and parking is very easy!

very cute place and the food is good. the espresso drinks aren't anything special though,and unfortunately get very pricey for those of us who are dairy free. they also charge for lighter ice in cold drinks, no ice i get but paying for light ice when I've already paid 2 dollars extra for alternative milk seems excessive to me. almost 9 dollars for a lavender white mocha with oat milk is insane.

Just moved to Hannibal and decided to check out JJ today. So much more than I expected! Clean, welcoming, helpful & friendly staff.
Coffee is good as well as my raspberry cream cheese croissant. All kinds of food options & ice-cream, lots of seating!
I’ve heard about Java Jive and finally made it in… WOW!! I’ll be back!

Wife's drink was perfect. My coffee was not hot. We shared a delicious dessert in downtown Hannibal. Loved the atmosphere, as the place seemed popular with both travelers and locals.

Lots of space inside for social distancing. Located several tables for outside seating. Loved the antique display cases.

Great, relaxing place with ice cream, coffees and teas to choose from. There's books to read, games to play, and coffee tables and couches to just lounge around. Worth stopping by!

Cute coffee shop, tons of drink options. Would recommend stopping by if you're passing through.

Can we say..Loves this place! Was visiting the beautiful town of Hannibal, MO and this jewel was located in Downtown. The food was good, customer service on point, prices are affordable, clean Rest Rooms, plenty of room to sit down,(outdoor seating available) COVID guidelines are: Do what You want. But the atmosphere is inviting, place to study, conduct a small meeting or just come and people watch. Appears to be a Woman Operated & Owned Business! Power to the Sisters!

I've been coming here for years. The service is always excellent, the atmosphere is wonderful. Their attention to cleaning and safety is superb. The coffee is excellent, the soups, sandwiches and salads are excellent, and the serving sizes are perfect. It may be a little pricey compared to other lunch options, but I've never left feeling disappointed.
