My Daddy's Cheesecake Bakery and Cafe

The gooey butter cake is amazing! This was my first time in MO & I was told I have to try this - it almost makes it worth it just to fly back there for some more! Definitely go here so you can experience some of the tastes of MO.

They have gone downhill. The quality of food doesn’t taste like it did a few years ago. Service was sloppy, and rude. I went in about a week ago. All the employees seemed irritated, and were rude. The food was overpriced, and didn’t taste good at all. I was disappointed as I usually love the cheesecake. But everything else they have isn’t good. Was very disappointed.

My husband and I love this place! Their sandwiches are very tasty and the gooey butter cake is seriously the best I’ve ever had!! Highly recommend!

I like coming here with friends for a good, quiet atmosphere where we can talk and enjoy being together. Their coffee selection is really good! Also, they have a wide variety in their menu, especially their breakfast menu. Also, I like their varieties of cheesecake and other desserts.

Great little bakery and eatery ! They have the best cheesecake anywhere and so many flavor choices.I had the scarlet o hara and my husband had the Mississippi mudpie.They were both delicious and they also do sandwiches,salads,and wraps.The philly cheesecake sandwich is so good.The staff were all very nice and I loved the Christmas decor.

The cheesecake is delicious but the portion was small. They also have entrees, salads, and smoothies. While we were there several people came to pick up bakery items to go. I had the peach smoothie. It was delicious but rather sweet.

I like the coffee and the atmosphere, but could someone explain to them what a scrabbled egg is??? It doesn't mean cooked in one piece and then cut up!

I've been away from Cape Girardeau for over 15 years, but NOT from My Daddy's Cheesecake! I get it delivered almost every year at least once. Now I've got my husband looking forward to the deliveries too. Absolutely the BEST I have ever had!!!

Such a cute place, but the food is unfortunately disappointing. Chips on my Santa Fe salad were stale and hard as plastic. Bourbon whiskey cheesecake beckoned with Southern authenticity, but turned out to be an absolute worst cheesecake I ever had. The cheesecake itself barely has any sugar, the topping is an awful stinky concoction of sugar and some chemical artificial flavor. One positive experience was their Pecan bourbon coffee - that was very good.

Great variety and quality of lots of desserts, not just cheesecake. It is a tad overpriced but for something sweet that's not cold after dinner, it's well worth it.
