I regret having to leave this very conflicted review, but looking at past reviews there seems to be a common trend here. GREAT food, HORRIBLE service. Let’s hit the good stuff first to be fair to the owner. She was a very personable lady who clearly is dedicated to her shop and displayed the typical southern hospitality with a neighboring table which honestly put a “glad to be in the south” smile on my face. The do-it-yourself coffee setup was fantastic and I’d highly recommend the blueberry cobbler coffee with some honey in there too. I got an omelette and was very pleased with it, my significant other saying much the same about her French toast! And I’ll be totally honest; that was the BEST biscuit I have EVER had (the second one was pretty great too haha). Overall the food was just fantastic.
That’s what kept me from leaving a one star review.
The service however was more than enough to inspire me writing this novel of a review. Our waitress was distant and uninvolved to the point that it was outright rude. After self-serving some delicious coffee we walked to the seating area wondering if the girl slouched against the wall looking like she’d rather be scrubbing the toilets than dealing with the likes of us was an employee or just hanging out. We took a window seating and within a few minutes two other tables were filled. These other tables were visited at least twice as often and were more readily waited on as the owner was chatting them up. Our waitress was distant and absolutely minimalistic in serving us. Overall she seems to be either untrained for service/hospitality or is totally uninterested in her job. Not to mention we sat there for ten minutes after having our tables cleared before she thought to come over and mention that we could pay up front at the register. MEANWHILE other tables had a check brought to their tables! We were nothing but polite so I really have no clue where the difference in service came from. I’m sorry to say that the miserable quality of service almost completely killed my enthusiasm about that top-tier biscuit.

The breakfast buffet is delicious and Mr. Robert makes the experience very enjoyable. The atmosphere is very laid back and everyone was very friendly.

Nice, comfortable cafe. We ate breakfast here where the service was friendly and quick.

Awesome large mugs for tea!

We went on a Saturday morning, ordered hot chocolate and lattes. The hot chocolate was cold, we had to send it back. It came back lukewarm. There was no system to identify whose drinks were whose. You placed your order and they just called out the drink name for about 10 people standing there. I saw people who just ordered take drinks that should have belonged to someone standing there for a long time. It was chaotic and stressful.

Really high-quality pastries and coffee.
The owner is so friendly and customer oriented. Comfortable seating. Downtown location.

Great food — the biscuit breakfast sandwich, veggie omelet, and blueberry pancakes were excellent!
Terrible coffee — we ordered a vanilla latte, iced mocha, and decaf drip to go. The latte was too syrupy to drink, and the others were watery and flavorless. We tossed them all.

This is a great little gem in downtown Natchez. Friendly happy service. Very clean. You can get breakfast all day. Several types of coffee in the self serve coffee bar or you can order a specialty espresso drink. The bacon was crisp to perfection. The Cowboy Grits were so good! The Eggs Benedict was heavenly. The pancakes were light and fluffy and the the biscuits were too. Gravy was rich and delicious. You need to try this place.

Worst coffee I have ever had. The lady had no clue how to make coffee and just ruined it. It was revolting!!!

The woman who waitressed our table was an angel. However the young cashier was horrible rude and disrespectful not just to me but also to my husband and the waitress who is an older woman.
