I was a little nervous about trying a poboy with tempura fried shrimp instead of traditional southern batter but it was really good. I haven't eaten here in probably close to 5 years so it was like my first time.
Service was on point and it wasn't too busy given lunch on a Friday. I was able to get good service, good food, and I was in and out in roughly 30 minutes.
I will definitely be coming back.

We have been going to the Rusty Pelican my whole life! It is a very special place to my family and since moving out of the state, it is a tradition to go to breakfast on our way back home! Everything is amazing🥰

Perfect food while on a road trip! A friendly and clean restaurant with plenty of space, crayons and coloring books to keep little ones occupied while eating in the provided high chairs. Dozens of delicious food options from shrimp Po-boys to Vietnamese Pho and Barqs Root Bear. Excellent service, good food, clean tables and the food never arrives cold.

Excellent service, the breakfast food was quick and very good. We look forward to trying lunch.

The Rusty Pelican was the best breakfast spot I’ve ever been to. The coffee and fresh cream was on point, the biscuits and grave was the best I’ve ever had. The hash browns were crispy on the outside with great flavor on the inside. My daughter had a great Cuban. My son loved his breakfast sandwich. The icing on the cake was the fresh beignets with powdered sugar at the end of our meal. It put a stamp on this 5 star review.

I just spent 15 dollars for breakfast (no drink) and I asked for eggs over easy and they came put over hard. You'd think spending so much you'd get the food how you requested it but I guess not. Before they spiked their prices so outlandish they never messed up an order of mine, now their prices are wild and this is the third time In a row now that my eggs have come over hard and not easy. I will be going with another establishment for breakfast from now on sadly. Foods still good, but not for the prices and specificity that I want.

I pass the rusty, pelican many a time.. I finally stopped in on 14 January 2023. I ordered a simple bacon omelette. I requested that the omelette be cooked entirely with no yellow or whites running. Not only was the eggnog scramble enough the inside was raw. Natalie looked bad, tasted bad, but was well undercooked and portions were just raw. I’ve come to the conclusion that’s my first and last start at the rusty pelican. PS, the service and the waitress did a very good job.

Service was fast, food was alright. My son's kids burger was only half a hamburger patty on a full bun. We came for poboys but they don't start their fryers until 11:00am.
