Awesome food, local fare. Staff was great, service with a smile. One of the best fried green tomatoes we have had. Pricing middle if the road. The deserts are to die for. Seating outside or inside.

I'm so upset that I didn't find this place until I had to move out of my apartment of three years! We ordered to go 2 days in a row. The shrimp wrap with 5th street sauce is INCREDIBLE!!! No other crab cakes my mom or I have tried have come close to the ones here either! We ordered them yesterday to split, then both got an order for ourselves today. We also got the catfish platter, shrimp platter, shrimp pasta, and mahi mahi. Wow... We couldn't be more impressed. I had already eaten half of this wrap tonight before this picture. It's a LOT of food, but we loved it so much we had trouble leaving ourselves some for later!
Don't make the mistake of going somewhere else. You'll miss out like I did!

Harbor View Cafe has everything going for it: beautiful facility, beautiful view, great staff, excellent food, and an easy location off the main strip in Long Beach.

I had the Cuban sammich (without pickles.) Very tasty and filling. One of the best Cuban's I've had on the Coast. Another member of our party had a Patty Melt, it was HUGE! One of the biggest Patty Melts on the Coast. And another party member had a Rueben, it was also HUGE! Outside of St Patricks Day when locations make special Ruebens, this one was a record breaker.

The ONLY downsides might be discovered during their busiest hours. You might encounter a wait to get seated because it is THAT popular. And you might have issues hearing because the place is FILLED and everyone is happy and loud. But those are signs of how good it is, not anything worth complaining about. At least for me.

Plain and simple: go here, you'll enjoy it!

Nice view from the patio, but the service was extremely slow and disorganized. I ordered the chicken salad based on the delicious sounding menu description of “hand pulled chicken” with grapes and nuts. In reality, it was more of a chicken mush, with only a few tiny bits of grape and nuts. A huge disappointment.

The Breakfast menu was simple. However, the selections were all great. Everything looked very appetizing. It was hard to choose. Our waitress made it very easy for us by narrowing down what we wanted sweet or salty and made some excellent suggestions.

Used to be my favorite restaurant on the Mississippi coast but for the last two weeks the wait and the service have been terrible Not worth the hassle to eat there! Dropped from 5 stars to 1.

Food has been excepting everytime!! If you go try the eggplant fries, we will definitely be revisiting!

1st, the whole reason for the visit, the Food!! All three dishes were tops!
2nd, the service, smiles on every face, as well as a greeting. (almost unheard of anymore)
So glad I live within walking distance. See you again VERY soon.

Delicious food. Amazing atmosphere. Beautiful views. Enjoy sitting outside on the porch. Fantastic service. Yummy desserts. Weekend breakfast is a good way to start the day. ☕

Always go their at least 1 time while snowbirding in Gulfport can't say we've ever had a bad experience!! Waitress are always friendly food always very good!?
