This place is second to none. You will never taste a better donut. You can see the whole process involved in the preparation. The staff is very kind and welcoming, too. So many memories with this place and I will continue to give them my support and take my kids.

Best doughnut shop in town; hands down as evidenced by the line out onto Hardy Street every morning. Always a fresh selection of traditional flavors as well as a decent selection of some that are less common, like bacon.

These are, hands down, the best donuts! You should go early and get them hot, though, for the best experience. But I can only attest to that for this particular location. They are the best.

I guess the time was late so the freshness was out the window. It was about 2 and none of the donuts I wanted were available. But the ones I bought were ok.

I have went to Shipley’s several times while visiting the Hattiesburg area on business, and each week there after paying for my order I will hand this elderly white woman my card and while I reach for it back she always place my card & my receipt on the counter & I politely asked her to hand it back to me. I’m not sure of the exact reason rather it’s a racially motivated intent or just plain rude & ignorant. Moving forward” I will not be returning where I’m not respected or accepted.

I have been going to Shipley's since I was a child and it had remained the same fantastic donut joint the entire time. Unlike Krispy Kreme's donuts that melt away when they go in your mouth and are just pure sugar, Shipley's makes amazing cake donuts that actually fill you up. The cinnamon sugar cake donuts are a must, and my girlfriend is a fan of their filled donuts (like pudding in the middle).

The best doenuts in town. Great coffee. Been eating here since I was in grade school. The reson their donuts are so good is because they are made with potatoe flower. Yummmmm!!!! SO GOOD!!!
