Coast Roast Coffee & Tea

A MUST HAVE. I travel to Gulfport frequently for work and always make it a point to stop in to Coast Roast. Not only is the coffee phenomenal, the atmosphere and service is unbeatable. Get some work done, read a book, or simply chat with friends at this Gulfport Staple.

If you can get past the morning hordes of stringed out addicted coffee addicts trying to get into this tiny little local shop you might just get to inadvertently submit your application to join the aforementioned mob, the coffee is good beyond all reason and the prices make Starbucks an embarrassment. The staff are incredibly helpful and always cheerful to make your order as quickly as possible without compromising their prized quality. I personally recommend the spiced mocha, but to each their own.

Great little spot for coffee! I also love their chai tea. Always consistent and friendly :)

Stopped by upon the recommendation of other reviews and partly to see their rebuilt 60's Faema espresso machine (I'm a coffee/espresso nerd). The double shot from this old classic was excellent.

Edit: ok most of the people are friendly … there are a few baristas who certainly don’t give their best as far as being welcoming or taking time with getting your order right. But there are also baristas that are super cool, super nice, and super helpful. But the former has required me to bring back coffee more than once now which is something I’ve never done elsewhere. It simply was not close to what I ordered

So I’m very split!!! Depends on the day/staff 🤷🏼‍♀️

We enjoyed ordering and sitting at the outdoor window. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and the drinks and baked goods we had were great! Would highly recommend.

An ideal experience for a beach day. The staff were kind and knowledgeable. the atmosphere was open and welcoming for our group to take a seat and relax for a few minutes. And I was impressed with the price of my drink, too! Will be visiting with every trip to Gulfport from now on.

The oatmilk latte was so good. The atmosphere inside is urban modern eclectic. Super nice staff. Clean restrooms, ask for a key though they are locked for customers only. Also a drive thru for convenience.
