Krispy Kreme is a popular donut shop, bakery, coffee shop, and dessert shop located in Columbus, Mississippi. The chain has been serving its famous Original Glazed Doughnut since it opened in Winston-Salem, NC in 1937. I got there bright and early at 7:30ish to get doughnuts for my son's birthday. I am sure they are busy on Saturdays and I didn't want to get there too late and miss out on getting what I wanted.
Brought them home and they were clearly old doughnuts. Not soft, icing was broken up, and tasted like they were a day old or more. Super disappointing for a birthday. My 7 year old only ate half of his chocolate sprinkled doughnut so obviously wasn't good. Any other day might not have cared but really wanted fresh and wish they would have asked.

If there was a way to give ZERO stars, I would be about there. I've been 3 times in the last couple weeks and I have noticed exactly TWO THINGS... The customer service is way, way off and if That weren't enough, my Kruellers are not good. Don't know if you're storing them next to fruity stuff or if you're just getting it all the way wrong. The donuts Do Not Taste Right, Do Not Taste Good!!! I'm posting here and then to the franchise website, to ensure that someone gets it and makes some changes!!!

Was frustrated when I arrived at 6 (when they open) and they told me it would be a 20 minute wait until donuts were ready. I waited 20 minutes, came back, and they told me again it would be another 20 minutes before they were ready. :(
I finally got my donuts around 6:40. They did however give me 6 donuts free because of the delay, so kudos to them for compensating for their customers.

Update. Almost a year later, I tried to get a pumpkin latte and again the machine was not working.
All of my reviews are for
the Clarksville tn location. Let me know when it works, maybe Ill try one more time.
For the third time in 3 weeks there were no lattes available. Glazed donuts are great. Had a cream filled donut today that had about 2 teaspoons of filling. Hot coffee was terrible and there was no real cream product available as creamer.

Donuts were super greasy and 4 year old vomitted all night after eating. :( Probably will not return.

They had like no donuts and the employee was rude and over charged me. When I asked how long the chocolate donuts would take, she acted like I was the biggest burden in the world. I was ready to wait, but she just responded with a very grumpy "a while."

Don't waste you time or money. Went with my Daughter and Husband and the doughnuts didn't taste right, we let the manager know and she said that was the way they are supposed to taste. I live in a different area and have traveled across the country, I have never tasted KK doughnuts this bad or had worse service. Only gave a star at all vecausb couldn't review otherwise.
