PJ's Coffee

the most inconsistent coffee shop I have ever visited. I order the same drink every visit and it has never been made the same way twice. This previous visit will be my last visit–what was supposed to be an iced mocha was more water than coffee. Tried my partner’s mocha velvet ice and it tasted like spoiled milk was used. Not the first time expired milk has been used in one of his drinks. I should have given up on this place sooner.

The protein velvet ice in Mocha flavor is really good. However, I was disappointed in the croissant with spinach and fetta, it was the size of a toaster strudel and not at all the size of what was displayed in the case when ordering. It was really good taste wise though. I would visit again for the coffee and to try other pastries.

Kind of disappointing for an established chain, but not completely without merit. It doesn't really bring anything to the table over the other major chains though, the espresso is some of the least flavorful I've had while on vacation in Louisiana.

That was the best coffee and beignets I've ever had.

Just moved from Kansas where Starbucks is everywhere. We couldn’t believe there wasn’t one near Brookhaven but very satisfied with PJ’s! We really love the coffees here. Only one suggestion that would improve the efficiency of preparing drinks and reduce wait times…write the drink order for each drink on the cup as it’s ordered so the barista doesn’t have to refer to the receipt over and over again. (Tip from my daughter that worked at Starbucks 🤫)

It took about 10 - 15 minutes to get through the drive thru here. Which isn't too bad, but there's barely room for four cars to wait that long before it gets out into the road. Service inside the window was a bit bland. Other than that, our drinks were great.

This is the most inefficient location I've ever visited with the most rude staff. There was no greeting upon entrance. I placed a mobile order via app of which was not ready as app said and I then had to wait another 10 min or more. They were in absolutely no hurry whatsoever ans they when did finally get my order gave mo straw. When I asked where they were the young man didn't even have the manners to point them out just said "over there". Why would you place orders at front door but have straws on back wall? It makes no sense

Edited to add: service is a lot better now and everyone is really nice. Wait time can be a bit long on a mobile order but the order is correct and tastes great.

The intercom system needs to be updated or they need to start calling back orders before they start them. The last two times we have ordered from this location the order was wrong and it took 30 minutes in the drive thru line to get the order. I know people make mistakes and I don’t mind having to get my order fixed but both times I was told that I ordered wrong based off of what was put into the system even though I didn’t input the order. This last time they “fixed” my order by giving me a watered down iced latte with little to no milk in it. I also ordered veggie egg bites and was given a veggie sandwich. By the time I realized it was still wrong and the food was wrong too I had left and I really didn’t feel like going back and being told that I ordered wrong again. I was looking forward to not driving an hour to get good coffee but I don’t want to deal with the trouble anymore.

PJ'S is an amazing lil place to get some amazing coffee and they dont skimp on amything. The staff is spectacular. Respectful and polite. This is a gem. Keep up the great work.

The beignets & cafe latte were great on a Sunday my first time . When I went back on a week day .. waited in line 20 minutes never moved so I went in to order. He said be with you shortly . They were slow moving & chit chatting. While standing there so long I saw a young blonde girl fixing a sandwich for customer she tore the mustard pack open with her mouth . Nasty . I left after that . Had already stood 15 minutes wait on inside. Still No one took my order . I may try one more time for those beignets hopefully I get good service next time .
