R & B Cafe

Fantastic! I am on carnivore diet and only eat animal products. Kylie was extremely helpful in finding out what I could afford to eat on a reasonable budget! Aside from exceptional service, the atmosphere was that of what you would expect an old fashioned small town cafe to be. If I am ever in the area or itching for this type of place, I will be back!

I was looking for a small town diner for breakfast. I wanted the "like mom used to make" feel and eats. I definitely found it at the R&B Cafe in Watertown. I ordered the breakfast special which consisted of two eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, and toast. The order arrived within minutes exactly as ordered and hot off the grill!

We stumbled across this little gem this morning. We left the cities STARVING,
tired, and cranky. thinking we would find a McDonald's or something along the way quick. Well as we got further west and then having to reroute our Destination we decided to roll down this small town main street. We saw a very large crowd outside and said, "That's a good sign." We walk in and the server says sit where ever you'd like.
The food was phenomenal. Best chicken fried steak I've had.. maybe ever. The patrons and staff were friendly and fun. Someone shouted out.. hey Daniel, this is their first time.. and we were quickly given a complimentary homemade cinnamon roll that literally melted in our mouths. I will most certainly go out of my way to go here again. And I think anyone traveling this area anytime soon should absolutely add it to your stop list.

We had such a good experience eating breakfast here! We meant to go to McDonald’s, but were too late for breakfast which was lucky because this place was so great. The food was delicious, prices more than reasonable, service friendly and fast. The kids got into “grandpa’s clean plate club” and earned a quarter for their candy/bouncy ball machines. They sent us home with a cinnamon roll as a “welcome” since it was our first time there. The food came super fast despite the restaurant being packed! And I’m not surprised they are busy- we will be certainly be back! Thank you R and B cafe for a great breakfast experience.

I've only ever had breakfast there. But the food was very good and fresh. And I really, really like there coffee. The owner is real friendly. And if he gets a chance he'll come out of the kitchen and chat with the customers.

Out of the 3 options for lunch; sloppy joe, house burger, or chicken bacon wrap. I apparently chose the wrong one with the wrap. Very sloppy wrap with chunks of chewy breaded chicken, 2 peices of bacon, and lots of letuce. It was $25 for the wrap with fries and cheese burger with soup. An older gentleman (cook?) was arguing with our waitress about my order when she told him I ordered fries. His response; "What is this McDonald's?".Our waitress was nice and they are the only reason this rating has stars.
