This place has the best cappuccinos in the Twin Cities as far as I'm concerned. I would give it 5 stars except that the seating situation isn't good. There are always students parked with a laptop at all the tables and it's hard to find a seat. I wish they would put up signs suggesting that people limit their time at the tables.

Quixotic I love you so so so much but I am always wishing that I could order food when you're out! I often come at 12:30 or 1 to have lunch and the salads and sandwiches are already completely gone! That and the pastries are usually cleared out too ;( Just a suggestion to make it better. Other than that you're my favorite coffee shop in the Twin Cities. Amazing coffee, amazing atmosphere, the internet works great, amazing food when available, and always a spot to sit. Thank you!

This is certainly a premium coffee shop. Everything from the environment to the coffee is unique and meant to be experienced instead of just consumed. I had a White Lightning and the coffee was delicious! A little expensive for a cup of nitro coffee, but at Quixotic you are paying for the experience.

They have an ample amount of seating and the atmosphere is great for studying or just chatting quietly.

Definitely stop by if you haven’t been!

Decent coffee, a little over-priced for what you get, but my biggest issue is with the employee who is always working mornings. He is so incredibly rude to me and my coworkers EVERY SINGLE TIME we go in there. Today was my last straw- I placed an online order, said it would be done at 10:01, got there by 10:03, told him I was there for my online order, and he said in the most disrespectful tone "Oh, the one that was placed a minute ago"
I understand the service industry isn't easy, I work in it, so I also know you cannot be a d*ck to customers all the time. Something needs to be done about his attitude.

Great drinks, many options, LOTS of space. This seems to be a mecca for folks to tap away diligently at their computers. Rarely does anyone make eye contact so I wouldn't say it has any sort of "Cheers" aspect, but there is a ton of seating, most of it really comfortable, the wifi connection is good, and they play pretty decent music at a really reasonable volume. The menu has a lot of options and the coffee and hot chocolate are both good. I also really appreciate that they have glasses for water.

I've had the "coffee of the day", an americano, and a latte here. All excellent. To my knowledge they do only have the one "coffee of the day" so you roll the dice a bit in case you don't like the particular choice that day. Cream is sourced from a nearby farm and is as high-quality as the coffee. I don't recall them having options like cinnamon/cocoa/etc. to add to your coffee, but that fits with their sort of purist approach.

Their pastries are really top-notch. Not sure whether they do them in-house or have them brought in, but it doesn't so much matter seeing as how they're so good. Last time I went they had a selection of croissants, some currant-earl grey tea scones, cookies, and an apricot danish.

Price-wise they aren't cheap, but for the quality I'd say you're getting pretty good bang for your buck. Their espresso drinks are pretty comparable in cost to the major chains.

Atmosphere is relaxed, low-light, and gallery-like. A good selection of comfortable chairs and a room with a long table for meetings in the back.

I love Quixotic, I just wish it was bigger! They have some of the best coffee I've ever had, the ambiance is great and it's a nice place to study- When you can get a seat. I have stopped going as often as I used to because there are no seats available. Please consider expanding!

Outstanding coffee! If you are there when their pumpkin latte is available, get it. It is not too sweet and the syrup is made in house.
The kombucha is also very good!

The staff was nice and fast. However the drinks were terrible. I ordered 2 hot chocolates to help warm my employees up. We were doing outside marketing. The drinks were more like steamed milk with nothing hinting at hot chocolate. 8$ and some change for steamed milk? I think not. 😩

Love this place in almost every way! My only gripe is that they tend to close WAY to early. There are many places in the area that close around 10pm or even 11pm most nights, but often you'll find that they close at 7pm. I find myself going across the street to Starbucks when I'm kicked out of Quixotic just so I can continue getting work done. Besides that, I LOVE this place. Service is always great and their coffee is always spot on. Even my girlfriend loves it and she's not typically a coffee girl.
