I have a need for espresso. S*****s doesn't cut it and neither does the Boo. Must have tried more than 6 others near my house too. Claddagh is my choice for the last 3(?) years; on West 7th and Selby, they seldom disappoint. Consistently well-chosen roasts, rich and carefully drawn shots, wonderful customer service. The best, I think, in my 20 years of coffee experience. [And local, and socially conscious, and scones! The best scones in the Cities. My case is made.]

Nice ambiance and decent coffee, but the prices are not worth the quality. Egg and cheese sandwich had green/grey spots on in the egg (not pepper). But I ate it anyways...

Claddagh’s is so charming! It’s a beautiful old building with great natural light. My cappuccino was delicious. The breakfast sandwich comes on a soft bun that doesn’t squish the eggs inside. I will definitely visit again!

We were in the area so we stopped by for some drinks. Loved the rustic vibe of this cafe. Very unique and perfect for St. Paul. Everything from the chalk menu to the hidden gems around the cafe were so fun.
My husband got the Nutty Mick - hazelnut, dark chocolate, espresso with oat milk. His drink was so smooth and delicious! No hint of bitterness here. Not too sweet but the flavor of the coffee was perfect so you didn't need too much sweetness.
I got the London Fog Latte with regular whole milk and it did not disappoint. Very creamy with the perfect hint of vanilla. Not too sweet. Went well with some morning donuts.
They have a large pastry selection which they make in-house at their other location - I'll have to divulge in some of those items next time. They also have a limited breakfast menu. Husband and I both agreed this is a coffee shop we would love to visit again some day!
The only downside was that it was busy even at 9:10 am - we waited in line and got our drinks in about 15+ mins. But I could tell the baristas were working as fast as they could. Just goes to show that the place is popular ! We didn't mind waiting and people watching.

My favorite go-to morning coffee shop for east coast style sandwiches on poppy seed rolls (at the West 7th location) and coffee or latte! Scones with jam and cream at Wee Claddagh on Selby. So yummy.

I savored their short cappuccino the first time I visited. It had a unique blend and was distinctly aromatic. The cold weather outside seemed to only increase my craving for a second gulp. This time I had a large cup and relished the experience. The indoors are cosy and you would often spot customers working their way through a nice sip of their unique teas, coffees and snacks. I would love to visit the shop a few more times whilst I'm at St Paul.

Amazing coffee! The breakfast sliders are delicious as well. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was comfortable. I definitely recommend this coffee shop if you need a coffe, are meeting a friend, or just need to get work done somewhere.
