Muggsy's Beans

If you are a fan of coffee and live in Central Minnesota and you have not had Muggsy's coffee.. than you are worse off for it. Also it means that you have not had the best coffee in the state. I am of the belief that when you put passion, integrity and strong ethics into a business and products, you are rewarded with success.

Oddly, the door is on the side of the building. Walk in and there's a drum set in the corner, and bags of coffee beans everywhere.

My one complaint is that he doesn't sell sampler packs, but he did discount a partial-bag of Mexican beans for me when he saw that there wasnt enough for a whole bag.

Folks, even at $10 a bag (a verbal price quote from Muggsey himself), you're spending way less on coffee than if you go to a local coffee shop every day. Better quality, too. Dunn Brothers might have freshly roasted, single-origin coffee, but they still brew it in big reservoirs, hurting the taste.

I bought whole bean, but I think asking him to grind them for you is an option as well.

I've been drinking Muggsy's coffee since his first roasting with Meeting Grounds. Consistently good coffee. Fresh, smooth, and a little sassy--just like Muggsy!

No problem asking Muggsy to blendTanzanian Teaberry with French, or other, dark roast. Best coffee have ever tasted.
