This place is so cute. My first time having a latte flight and I’m sold. Totally hooked. Amazing lattes, especially the seasonal Ruby Lane. Orange/cranberry and espresso? Amazing. I’d come back purely for that. Looking forward to trying other seasonal drinks in the future. Wish they were open later for coffee past 3 because I’d go back for more and stay all afternoon if I could.

This is a good coffee shop. They have the standard espresso drinks and several seasonal drinks as well. I had the First Frost, a delicious drink sweetened with maple syrup.

The coffee shop apparently doubles as a brewery at night. It’s in an industrial area, so it’s a little hard to find, marked only by a sandwich board by the street.

The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because they are cashless, which is quite elitist. There are a lot of reasons to prefer cash to credit or debit, and it’s inconsiderate to the customer to not take cash.

What a fun hidden gem of a place this is!! This was my first time here and I was blown away by their unique menu selections with fresh real-made ingredients. I had an espresso latte with sage and lavender that was heavenly!! Cool vibe and fun atmosphere.

Coffee worth the wait, but the waiting experience needs improvement!

First off, long time visitor of this building for the Wild Mind Ales business within the same building. Wild Grind coffee shares the same traits as it's brewery sister in that I have never been disappointed with any drink I have experienced in this building.

The quality of coffee is second to only a select (Best) coffee shops in Minnesota, but with Wild Grind being closer to my home, this establishment wins over most in this regard.

I am a regular in drinking a cortado, and theirs not only comes out tasting delicious every time, it is also of a proper temperature through and trough. Nothing worse than a huge contrast between temperatures in this classic.

Now to my critique on the overall experience.

While the coffee is great, getting it to you and your table is not exactly a favorable experience.

1. Taking orders is quite a long process where you wait in line quite a bit longer than most others.

2. Picking up orders is done in a small room mostly for bottle sales / merchandise, and not in the larger room where everyone is sitting / waiting.

- This creates a bottleneck at the end of the line where people wait (usually blocking the door).

- It is really hard to know when your order is up, because the staff only announces an order being up inside this small room that can only fit 3 or 4 people waiting for their orders.

Suggestions.
- Why not put up orders at the other end of the bar similar to how the Brewery operates? The site has quite a long bar, and it being in the open makes it easy for customers to know if / when an order is up.

- If the previous doesn't make sense, Why not utilize the Vestaboard, outside the merchandise room to list names (or order numbers) that are ready for pickup? This display usually shows merchandise prices or specials that are far outside the field of view for people in line anyway.

Waiting for coffee is expected, however the long wait in line, followed by a cramped, and hard to access pickup room take away from the more positive experince the brewery has.

Coffee AND beer in a cool location. My cappuccino was really tasty, but I haven’t tried the beer yet. It’s tucked in a light industrial zone in a neat setting with a good looking patio that, unfortunately, was snow
covered. Likely a great place to be in the summer. Appears to be dog friendly. Parking in winter on the street is, like every other place in the cities, a little ugly with all the snow remnants. But it is definitely worth the walk.

Stopped in for a flight of Coffee. We got kiss of sage, Miel and Pascual moon (seasonal option). All coffees have a wonderful taste and aroma. Thanks yo it being Wild Mind brewery location. The atmosphere is top notch. We also got a buttercream filled donut and a cheddar and jalapeño croissant. Both items were excellent the donut was not to sweet and was perfection. Definitely adding this stop to my forever list of worthwhile coffee/early morning spots!

Excellent coffee. Hard to find shops that can make good true espresso drinks. Cortado was very tasty, smooth. Usual fare for pastries.

In terms of setting and experience probably my favorite place in south Minneapolis for a relaxing coffee morning. Beautiful location inside of Wild Mind Ales. The area is large enough to accommodate working remotely and social gatherings and kids and dogs love the outdoor patio.

Coffee is GREAT too. Unique lattes and quality ingredients. Service can be a bit slower at times but well worth the wait.

This place was awesome! We have a new pup so we’re on the hunt for dog friendly spaces to hang out! Dogs are welcome inside and outside! Staff is really friendly! We tried a flight of their speciality lattes and they were all delicious!! Highly recommend :)

If you're looking for a place for good coffee AND beer, then Wild Grind Coffee is for you!

I met a friend here for a coffee break and was so glad we tried it out!

Vibe: It definitely has a warehouse feeling to it. I loved all the big tables and lots of folks were working/studying.

Coffee/Food: I got the Paschal Moon (a rose cardamom latte). If you get a small you can drink from a real cup, which was more than large enough. My friend got the Cosmo & Wanda (such a fun name and it was a matcha+strawberry milk drink). Both were DELICIOUS. Some of the best fun coffee/tea drinks I've ever had.

I also got the flan danish and again, YUM. If you've ever had a Portuguese Pastéis de Nata (custard tart) it tasted kind of like that. Perfectly flaky and not overly sweet.

Parking: Not amazing. Wild Grind is locating in a warehouse area and there is street parking.

10/10 would come back again. Maybe for one of their trivia nights!
