4 tries to visit. Closed every time. Only sign is a little piece of paper you can only see when you walk up to the door. I like, well liked, caribou more than Starbucks but I'm guessing they are going out of business since they are always closed.

(Post Made 1 year ago) This specific Caribou location has always been my favorite but not anymore. Since this summer I had to return to the place just because they didn't make my drink correctly. They didn't make a big deal out of it but its so time consuming. Getting stuck in traffic then in line and they take forever to make my drink.... Just yesterday even after the second time they still made me the wrong drink.....probably not going to go back anymore. I've given up on this location!
(Post 5/3/19) Since I'm not able to make another review, I'll just edit my old post and write down the date of the posting. Anyways, I just wanted to share my experience with this specific Caribou Coffee at this location. I called in this morning around 10:30 am to see if the staff can check the availability for me for 5/5/18 at 6pm before I actually come into the store to book it to save me time since they don't book rooms over on the phone anymore. The staff that I talked with said, "We are too busy right now. Can't help you. Why don't you call us back at a later time." In my head I'm like did you just seriously say that?....So I told her "Uhhh..okay...I guess I'll call a different Caribou then since you're too busy to help." Poor poor customer service!! Good customer services should be provided at all time!! You have to care for your customer during slow and busy hours!! Well I called the Caribou Coffee on Rice street and they were able to help me really fast and easy. So good bye to Caribou Coffee on White Bear!!

Pre-ordered two boxes for my wedding this morning and arrived only to told they don't have boxes. Unacceptable, at least send an email or phone call to notify me so I don't waste time waiting in line on my wedding day

Drive thru is unbearably slow. I don't mind some wait, but 20+ minutes is crazy.
1 year later and this drive thru might be slower than it was before. It’s not reasonable at all.

This caribou is not that good bad customer service and both of my drinks were incorrect how do you make the drinks wrong I ordered off the menu wasn't anything made up I don't get it 2nd time this has happened here.

I had great service from this place in past but there was this one person who did not want to give extra cup with my large late. Their computer has the option to split large order if requested but this person was stopping the server from doing that and was demanding two orders. My wife did not want the sip that bad so I drove off. With this service there are going to be more customers who are not going to drive off without buying.

I was just at the drive Thur the lady taking the orders was incredibly rude and short. Called to talyo manager and she was indifferent and rude. This is such a disappointment as when I get my coffee its cheer me up and having rude service is terrible. AVOID this place! Unless you like being treated like garbage

I’ve lived near this Caribou for 6 years and have had nothing but bad experiences. About a year and a half ago, they would turn the lights on and off an hour before closing and ask people to leave. One time I left my phone charger here when they kicked me out 30 minutes before closing, came back 3 minutes after they “closed” and they claimed it was gone. Turns out the employee stole it and it had to be brought up with their manager. They tried to give me a camera charger instead of an iPhone charger and i didn’t get my cord back until the manager was spoken to. Service isn’t great and employees are INCREDIBLY disrespectful. I go to literally any other Caribou in the White Bear area because of my experiences. No idea what this place is like now but I will not be finding out.

Caribou is my all time favorite place to get a hot cup of coffee or just hang out. This specific location has a great ambiance which is good for individual study/hangout or meet in an enclosed space with others. The staff are all awesome, they're my favorite! The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that I usually go during my lunch break and I'm generally waiting a long time. I've been late coming back to work because they've taken so long. It's not uncommon for me to wait 7+ minutes in the drive-through when I'm the only one in line. If there's more than one car in the drive-through than I simply go in or skip my purchase all together.
