Family owned restaurant with fantastic food and great staff. One of the few places I'll actually go sit down for a meal, located right off Lake Mille Lacs in beautiful downtown Garrison.

From outdated decor and robot-like waitress - I will never go back to this place, not one waitress or employee in there smiled back at me, not even the customers. We tried it for breakfast wondering what all the hype was about? And it was nothing but overpriced greasy food and the place was filthy dirty disgusting with mis-matched utensils and dishes.

Will definitely try the restaurant next-door for breakfast - at least over there all the employees look like a happy bunch who enjoy being in the service industry.

Every spring for years now, our group of 10+ stop in here for breakfast on our way to Walker’s Leech Lake area for a 4 day fishing trip.
There has “never been” a disappointing plate of food. The waitresses are always friendly and courteous. The clean cozy restaurant is always a welcome first stop for this metro area group.

Service was fine, but if you’re looking for anything homemade go elsewhere. Canned mushrooms on French Dip - barely warm - cheese wouldn’t even melt. Pre-made burgers and pork tenderloin.
Mediocre at best.

I love this classic diner, breakfast and lunch are consistently good. Nice views of Mille Lacs Lake.

Stopped in here for a quick bite to eat. We go by this place all the time, finally decided to stop. Our family enjoyed the prompt service and our meals. We had BLT's and the Meatloaf, awesome small cafe portions at a reasonable price.

Waitress was very friendly, it's a nice little ma and pop style dinner. Prices were fairly reasonable for the portions. Food was good just could be a little more flavorful/seasoned

The food is always great.. the service exceptional!
