Gator's Grilled Cheese Emporium

Really great service this morning with only two employees working! Food was very good as well. Bravo for the top notch service during a very tough summer employment season!

Love Gator's!! This is our second visit. We came same time last year after our trip to BWCA and this year were out in the BWCA and were hoping to make it out before closing time and were thrilled that we made it. Such good home made food, a highlight of our trip to Ely.

Great food, friendly staff, made us feel at home... We ate here three or four times on our week-long stay in Ely. Loved it and wish we had a Gators at home :-)

The two stars are for the friendly staff and cleanliness. The salad dressings are not what we are used to. Maybe to gormet for our pellets. The mack and cheese is not close to the homemade your momma made. More like large elbow macaroni with cheese ladeled over it. Sorry to say we will not be returning.

Great mac n cheese. My 4 3/4 year old granddaughter says it is the best. She is a regular and the serving staff always greet her and have nicknamed her the mac n cheese kid.

Good local eatery. Friendly folks. Good food for a good price.

Great addition to the food scene in Ely! Best deal is the "Gator"--an adult grilled cheese that comes with a "side" that is a meal in itself. I really like their chicken chili!

Awesome food. Everything I've tried has been great. The service is wonderful and friendly. Try the Carrot Cake, you won't be disappointed!!! Sometimes I have it for lunch... 😁

Absolutely the most delicious mac n cheese & grilled cheese you could ask for. Tons of different options including vegetarian options. Great service and very homie and inviting atmosphere.

I was super surprised by how delicious their sandwiches are PLUS gluten free breads!!
