Great breakfast food in Elk River. If you go on a weekend you better go early, as seats fill up very very quickly. Reasonable prices and fantastic attentive service. Recommend if you're in the area. Parking available out front or large parking lot in back. Kid friendly with highchairs available.

Delicious cinnamon French toast! The Haystack was perfect with tasty sausage gravy and hashbrowns on top! Very happy with our meal and service.

I've now eaten here twice and both times have been outstanding experiences. Fast wait times, friendly staff, and delicious food at a reasonable price. They could use a bit of sound muffling on the walls, as it gets very loud and becomes hard to converse at your own table. I personally recommend the brownie, but it is definitely a desert to split with someone. It's roughly the size of the average cell phone and 3-4 times as thick. If you have it there, they warm it up for you, and it is wonderful. I highly recommend this if you're looking for a good breakfast.

5 stars for customer service. All of the staff was so friendly in wishing me a happy mother's day today and our waitress went above and beyond. She didn't stress out or get irritated when our 5 yo spilled his water and was good with the kids.

They apparently carry gluten free carrot cake; so we will be back!

I love this place! It's got a great local diner atmosphere, and their breakfast is really really good. I got the Kielbasa sausage breakfast with breakfast potatoes that were super crispy--which is something that is not easy to do--especially when you're serving a lot of people. They were just extremely good. They have good coffee too, and they keep you topped off. The service was awesome. I definitely recommend this place.

I don't leave reviews often and this one seems like a small token compared to what this place, the server's, cooks and owner deserves. I came in on a Tuesday at around noon and it was busy. Not overwhelmed mind you. The waitress was so understanding and and really listened and... soo good. Thanks front and back of house. You guys are killing it.

First time here on the way up north - great choice! Hearty delicious breakfast and wonderful service. Kielbasa Breakfast highly recommended!!

Love, love, love this place. Only thing better than the service you receive is the Fabolous food that's put before you with the greatest of ease.

On my quest for the best Eggs Benedict, Old Main Eatery. First impression is it looks pretty old but, welcoming. The dining area was a lot more clean than I've seen at many, many other places. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Prices are decent also.

The order. An Everything Omelet and the afore mentioned Eggs Benedict.

The Omelet was good, texture, flavor, ingredients all flowed nicely, even the seemingly odd spinach leaves worked for me. The hashbrowns were just hashbrowns needed a bit of salt and I think the toast was store bought, even though they are next to a bread bakery.

The Benedict, I've had several that were not good but, this one was not bad. The eggs aren't poached (not a deal breaker), there was one thin slice of (I think) packaged ham (disappointing), and the holly sauce seemed a bit strong like it might have been a mix. All on top of I'm pretty sure store bought English muffins.

As I'm going over this list it sounds like I may not have liked it. It was prepared well and I did enjoy it and the overall experience does make me want to return. It will sadly not be for a favorite of mine.

4 stars because I liked the place and there are many other menu items I'd like to try, so there is room to be wowed still!
