Dovetail Cafe & Marketplace

I've been to a lot of cafes, but this one is just superior (lol). The food was super good and very filling. Not super expensive. The atmosphere was lovely and is decorated beautifully.

My favorite coffee shop in town! I love their atmosphere, their staff, and their coffee. The also have amazing artists selling their products inside as well. Just a great place to get a cup of coffee and enjoy.

This neighborhood cafe in the Craft District of Lincoln Park is absolutely wonderful! They have a tap list with cider, kombucha, and several regional craft beers. I tried the Grapefruit-Rose sour by Deschutes and it was great! Dan and I both had the Corn Poblano Chowder-YUMMY! I had the Bacon-Apple-Mozzarella Sandwich and it was delicious!!
Highly recommend! Great vibe and really friendly, caring staff! They also have vegan options.

Love the atmosphere of the Duluth Folk School. I ordered the macchiato. It is a traditional so sized as espresso, not like the latte macchiato you may be used to from starbucks. Daughter got Chai tea latte. It was very good. We each had delicious breakfast. There are hearty vegetarian options here. The head baker is brilliant. Lavender raspberry scone was to die for and the rosemary chocolate chip cookie was yummy too!definitely stop here!

Please don't sell matcha latte (especially for $4.50 + tax!!) if you don't know how to make it. It was very clumpy and had no flavor.

Also the wifi only worked 20% of the the time.

The music is very distracting and the chairs are uncomfortable. It is cutely decorated, but I wish there were more outlets to power my computer that won't connect to wifi. Oh well I guess?

$1 extra for non-dairy milk is discrimination toward those with lactose intolerance?? :(

This place is awesome. Great food coffee drinks and great service. Beautiful atmosphere. Its in side or connected to a store and they offer canoe building classes and stuff like that. Check it out! Try the dirty Chai latte.

Hard to find decaf hot drinks. Good selection of unique beer. Great artwork, nice window seating. Haven't explored the upstairs but overall warm atmosphere.

I used to love this place but was super disappointed by my last experience. I get the election is close but seriously, you have to hang up papers (literally EVERYWHERE) containing lies and misinformation regarding the President of the United States?!? I’m sorry, but a business that feels the need to convey their opinion in this way is non-professional and put plain and simple, rude. We need more coffeeshops in this area (one where politics are left outside would be nice).

Loved the food. Service was great. Ambiance is Duluth cool! Close to lots of other brew pubs, tasting rooms and shops.

Came across the amazing gem of a cafe today and let me first say the food and coffee are AMAZING!!! This place just opened the day prior and I can see big things happening here for the community. Spoke with Joe and Justine and you can feel the passion they have for this cafe. Super impressed!
