DELICIOUS breakfast sandwich and great coffee. The staff are super friendly and the baker is exuberant about his work. Beautiful setting, too, sunny and warm. I can't wait to come back and taste more!

Dovetail was really nice to experience for the first time! I didn't even know it existed and was invited by a friend for coffee. They're affiliated with the Duluth folk school and have beautiful arrays of creations both on display and for sale, as well as offer classes (currently individual classes). They make a mean quiche both vegetarian with like feta and stuff or with bacon and cheddar. I'm a fan

An amazing restaurant/cafe that is open late on weekends (10pm). I had the hummus sandwich which was wonderful. Their beer list is diverse and has some great IPA from beyond Duluth. A beautiful space for a meal or drink. I will definitely be back.

Amazing coffee, best I have had in awhile. I wish I can purchase those beans they use cause it so smooth no bitterness

We were visiting from Texas. Had the quiche, it was wonderful! Friendly staff, comfortable atmosphere & surrounded by small shops.

Good place to meet for coffee. Servers don't seem too thrilled to greet you, though... sometimes have blank stares and wait for you to initiate communication. Nice historic building. Nice to see something like that in the West End. Great quiche!

Im trying not to be too hard on them. So, I'll say this: i want to go back and try their coffee drinks, but i doubt I'll have their food again. Had their biscuits and gravy(special of the week) and it was disgusting. The Duluth egg sandwhich was just a little better. Maybe i WOULD give them another try. I feel bad, but....

A cute place with fair prices and great coffee for sure. Sadly, I had to reduce this rating due to the political propaganda littered around the place. Encouraging people to vote is great and I couldn't support it more, but this place has pieces of paper lined throughout the entire dining area with anti-Trump and borderline anti-America writing. If you don't like Trump that is fine, but I don't think it is necessary to post lies and twisted truths all over the place.

Every business is a values-driven business. The Duluth Folk School values community, resourceful, ingenuity, truth, decency, kindness, learning, tolerance, our environment, respect, and inclusivity. It honors the past, while ushering in new traditions. It’s open-minded, and expresses both a gentle honesty and critical thinking. Their rotating exhibits showcase and celebrate the awe-inspiring art, photography & crafts created by our wonderful community. I am grateful that they are here boldly sharing their vision and values. They are values that serve the planet, and ultimately all of us, well..

Wonderful atmosphere with very different decor that is interesting and intriguing. The staff were courteous, friendly, and helpful! The menu is different and the food was delicious. The portions were more than adequate. It just might become my favorite restaurant.
