Dovetail Cafe & Marketplace

My husband and I love dovetail and make a point to stop whenever we’re in Duluth! I love the matcha and breakfast bowl & were a big fan of their cappuccinos too. My only complaint is we’ve ordered ahead a few times and gotten there just for the staff to be confused about the order and not have started it. Frustrating for when you’re in a hurry but love the food & drinks!

Great coffee and good service! I ordered Latte and Cappuccino on different occasions and both very pretty good and had the right level of sugar for my tastes. Would definitely recommend this place and they have online ordering which makes it even more convenient.

Coffee good and food is decent for a small cafe. Some good breakfast items on the menu! Atmosphere is fantastic- a spacious cafe with tall ceilings and open floor plan. A small stage up front for live music. Owner put a lot of thought into the small details of the cafe giving it a unique feel. Excellent local business.

Love dovetail for lots of reasons. It's my favorite place to study in Duluth. Their coffee and food is good. Their staff is warm and friendly. Emily is the best barista ever and is very personable and sweet! She deserves a raise and an award. All in all would recommend!

This is an awesome atmosphere. Plenty of space/seating. The quiche was fantastic. Not so impressed with my americano, but I'll certainly be back to try something different!

Amazing food with vegetarian options and milk alternatives. A little pricey but it’s worth it. Lovely seating for studying and visiting.

Absolutely perfect. The owner Carmel and I talked at length about the world of food. And glad I did. She is a genius in hospitality. Excellent food and even better customer relations practices. We share a love for the world of stir fry. Lol.

Amazing atmosphere with good seating options, and cute homemade things to buy. Their chai latte with oat milk and maple latte with oat milk and cinnamon were delicious. The staff was super friendly. Highly recommend their Cosmic Brownie Cookie (vegan & GF) as well! Definitely a favorite spot in Duluth.

They have an amazing, well oiled, and ingenious way of streamlining food/coffee orders all whilst learning how to operate during the pandemic.

Dovetail is a perfect name for this welcoming local pottery, clothing, art, soaps, oils marketplace/cafe. Well worth your time to shop in this Lincoln Park store. (The whole area has MANY fabulous shops.) The wide variety of beautiful items are mostly local made. Kind staff are casual, willing to assist or leave you roam. The baked goods are great! (Mini pies, sweet breads, oh my) breakfast sandwiches and burrito bowls are tasty and ready for takeout. The coffee from Cafe or bulk is roasted on site. Yes, yes. Love this place.
