Lovely place to enjoy a warm drink and talk with friends. I ordered the chai and some tahini sesame cookies. There is a charming character to the space and a nice laid back atmosphere.

Dovetail is one of the better places for good coffee in Duluth. One of the best places to sit and chat or read. Plenty of room, usually quiet, big open space. Food is very good too, especially the breakfast. Lots of space, not too loud, power outlets and USB ports are abundant. Good food, good place to go. Highly recommended. Parking is on the street.

Good breakfast sandwich and coffee to go. Nice little boutique inside. I would definitely come back again.

This cafe was always my partner's and I's favorite little date place. Such a warm and cozy atmosphere that's unlike any other cafe I've been to. And the taste of the coffee is about unmatched. We went to multiple cafes in the area, but my partner always swore by their coffee.

I first came here with a friend who recommended it. It was fantastic then and fantastic now when I took my Mom here for Mother's Day. We had coffee and quiche, and it was excellent as always. I got a cappuccino and she got the Tanzania drip.

What a delightful cafe!

Eclectic decorations, and lots of art for sale - even looks like they’re set up for live music, although there was none when we were there.

Coffee was good, didn’t try the food but I suspect it would also be.

The only photos I took were of the men’s bathroom, because of how cleverly decorated it was! Look forward to returning for more coffee and perhaps some food next time as well!

Looked up the menu online to make sure they would have something for everyone. Upon arriving we were very disappointed! Only cookies and 1 scone flavor to choose from on the menu. The pictures and menu are not as they appear online. We left. Not worth going unless you'd like a full over priced breakfast!

Dovetail is a cute cafe inside the Duluth Folk School. The coffee was very good but both times I visited with my sister we were disappointed with some of the food. In particular, I have had much better vegan, GF bakery items--the cake and scone were dry, almost flavorless and crumbled into bits as soon as you opened the wrapping. The chocolate babka that is not vegan? That was delicious and I've ordered it twice since. The atmosphere is also fun, since the folk school has many classes you can observe while in the cafe.

Lovely local spot for coffee, spirits, community and tasty home-made food.

Big, open rustic space featuring a coffee bar, pastries, breakfast, lunch and dinner options as well as beer, cider and wine. Local classes for crafts and yoga. Local crafts for sale - cards, pottery, decor, etc.

Plenty of space and power sources for you to work or surf.

Super friendly staff. Really Reasonable prices.

Espresso drinks delish. DO NOT miss the Nutella babka!

Nice to have a boba fide coffee and gather place in the western part of Duluth.

The service here has slowly declined over the years. When they get busy the coffee orders are slow, never right, and people take your drinks since they don't get your name. Love this place but wow, the drink situation needs to be figured out!!!
