I initially "found" Red Raven when i was looking at riding bike at Cuyuna. I had a family reunion to attend and it just so happened that while looking on Google maps I discovered that I would be traveling right through Cuyuna country and I realized I had the opportunity to ride these trails that I had heard about so often. So I discovered Red Raven before even going though Ironton/Crosby. Anyways, this place is AWESOME. It's so great to see how this couple has opened up a perfect cafe/bike shop/pub/bike rental/just all around cool place to hang out! If you're passing through, do yourself a favor and stop by and get a coffee or a pint or whatever and sit down and chill on their front patio or there's plenty of space inside. They have all your biking needs - energy or recovery drinks, if you're coming or going. Just go there, okay!?!>
A must visit for cyclists visiting Crosby / Cuyuna MTB trails. A great stable of rental bikes, location close to trail access, they have both coffee and beer to hydrate with, and most importantly super cool owners and staff. Highly recommend.
Awesome place for lunch, dinner, snacks, and drinks. The Ruben and Cuban were my favorites. They also had a nice selection of bikes and accessories. I took home a souvenir t-shirt.
At a crossroads literally and figuratively - Red Raven is the pivotal cog of the Crosby community, biking and otherwise. Delicious food with eco-conscientious touches, tasteful merch, and an inviting atmosphere for all. If you are in Crosby or passing by, it's a must stop.
Are you a Minneapolis hipster far from home, perhaps exploring the Cuyuna Mountain Bike Trails? Do you need a bicycle cafe where you can get coffee and great craft beer? Look no farther than the newly opened Red Raven. Now, the place is just getting its feet, and they don't have bicycle rentals _yet_ but the friendly owner will more than make up for it.
We rented some really sweet Santa Cruzs! All the bike shop staff are really helpful and the food is just awesome! If you are coming to ride cuyuna, Red Raven is a must!
Patrick saved my Cuyuna weekend with an emergency bike repair. He had the parts on hand and the knowledge to fix it right to get me back on the trails. Oh, did i mention the excellent bevs and great food to partake in while you wait or just chill with fellow dirt enthusiasts. Thanks Patrick!
