Went here on the recommendation of a coworker. Was kind of disappointed. Burger was nothing special as well as the fries. Food was very expensive as far as a drive-in restaurant goes. The Drive-In in Taylor's Falls is way better as far as food, price, and experience go. I came, I saw, I probably won't be back.

Due to the COVID Pandemic Gordy's has switched over to car side orders. They are fairly fast and accurate and their food is amazingly great. You get your food and either go with it or find a spot outside their to eat. Wonderful!!!!!!

Always great! Worth the drive from there cities! A must stop when in Duluth area. Got big G burger, wife got mushroom and Swiss. Shared onion rings and a chocolate malt.

Visited Sunday 5/3/20 during the pandemic. The line was 20 cars deep for the carhop service, but the line moved fast. Tyler & Paul were hilarious directing drivers to open spots. We were laughing non-stop!! The food was great as always - fries & onion rings are the best!

We always enjoyed going to Gordy’s and stopped in this spring. Sadly we were overcharged by $10 and didn’t realize it until we left. Training should include math! We won’t be back.

Watched and waited for Gordy's to open when it was being built, I have never had a bad meal since it opened and we are waiting for Gordy’s to open again this spring, the food is delicious!😋

Here's the deal with Gordy's - it is a true Minnesota icon that serves fantastic burgers and malts and fish sandwiches but the onion rings are over rated. It's up there with Sweet Martha and Heggies when it comes to shared food experiences in the state. The lines move fast even on the busiest day. The staff is incredibly friendly. We never miss a chance to stop at Gordy's! PRO TIPS BELOW

- Two regular fries feeds four people
- Pet walking area out back
- Fish and Chips is enormous and is a good "share plate"
- Chili dogs are really good, but I'm not a fan of just a cup of chili on a summer day
- Big G is great burger but comes with high degree of difficulty due to mess
- Malts over shakes

Don't need my review to know its the place to stop. Line starts at the front door and moves fast plan ahead in your day to stop (have a good appetite) miss seeing Gordy behind the counter but his place continues to make lots of people and me happy!

STOP here if you are traveling past Gordy’s on HWY 33 and it is open. Three reasons for providing a 5 star rating:
1) Tasty, Freshly prepared food.
2) inexpensive
3) The owner shows up and works next to his employees.

Food recommendations: double cheeseburger, coney dog w/ cheese, onion rings, hot fudge Oreo malt.

Remember to tell’em OuttaTownTony sent you!

Really good burgers and fries! I would have added the fifth star, but the onion rings were average and the flow of the service counter could use some improvement. Also, the condiment stations do not offer mayo, so it would be nice if that was added for those of us that prefer it to ketchup & mustard.
