Loved it. I would definitely drive the 3 hrs to taste it again. Very efficient staff. When we got there the line was outside the door. But we got to seat and eat in less than 15 minutes.

New Review: The fish recipe does not taste the same. It used to taste beer battered and crispy, now it isn't, reminded me of cornmeal, almost. I've gone to fish fries all over, this WAS the best fish. Now on-par with other places. Bummer to spend so much to have the taste change. Plan on about $35 -$40 for 2 people. Old Review: 2022) 5 star - Old Americana drive-in feel. I've eaten here my whole life, their fish is wayyyy better than the burgers. The malts are a must, too. It does get spendy, but still good. Would skip the wildrice burger. Fries and onion rings are great. Very seasonal months, it closes Sept. 18th this year.

Gordy's is an old school Drive-In institution. Everything is done well and with top ingredients. Very friendly and efficient. Don't be intimidated if there's a line, they move fast. Excellent burgers, fries, rings and curds. Don't miss the malts. Worth a drive out of the way.

Blackberry banana malt is where it's at! Wasn't a big fan of the onion rings, but fries and burgers are both legendary. I stop EVERY time driving through Cloquet.

Was amazing you would go back in a heartbeat. Amazing shakes, awesome French fries, great burgers, and very reasonably priced. I will be back

Prices are insane. Two hamburgers, one California hamburger, french fries and one chocolate shake is $18.

Food is not high quality and not organic but costs like it is. Flavors are about on par with McDonald's

The waste here is high, everything you get served on is Styrofoam or some other disposable nonsense.

Time would be better spent at the Duluth grill.

Burger was good. Won't order extra fried onions again. Haha Not much special about the burger. Looking forward to trying the fish next time.

Very sub par food. I always hear how great it is but I would much rather go to Culver's or DQ. It wasn't worth the hype.

Wow what a great place... classic old 50s type dinner with great food and atmosphere... I try and support all small mom and pop places and had never heard of the place being from deap in the south.. stopped because they had a sign for 1.99 hamburgers on Wednesday...glad I stopped .. food was good but the history is fabulous... and lo and behold but who should be behind the counter but Gordy himself... 90 plus years young and looking great...this is the kind of American dreams this great country was built on. Dont pass it up ... this is getting harder and harder to find in America.. thanks Gordy and to all those who have helped over the 60 years this place has been open.

Some of the best burgers in the state are served here, along with some great fries and desserts. Absolutely love this place and it reminds me of my youth. If you ever get the chance to eat at Gordy's, take it and savor it!
