The servers are there to serve and they all are excellent at that. Dan and his son have picked up the task at taking care of all who dine their. You will be pleasantly surprised and thoroughly fed.

Gordy's Hi-Hat is like going back to the good old days for food. It is always great food, service and atmosphere. That makes you stop there every time you go by it.

Wow, 1st time eating here had the double cheeseburger with pickles onions and ketchup!! Delicious and a side of cheese curds. Great service at car window to take order and bring you your food. Would definitely return! thanks for the good lunch

We love this place. Classic burgers served simple, onion rings to die for and great malts. We've eaten here about 20 times over the years and have never had a bad experience. Be prepared to wait if your going on a weekend. This place is no secret! If you're lucky you can even see the legend himself working behind the counter.

Yum! Fries, malts and burgers were wonderful. Cheese curds and onion rings were just ok in our opinions.. We'll be back!

As soon as I walked in, I was met with a wave of retro nostalgia. Checkered floor and classic rock and roll music, the smell and sound of burgers and fries sizzling, and the sound of orders being called over the PA system. Low prices for classic food quality. The staff were friendly and were able too hear my entire order despite the loud atmosphere. Plenty of seating available, both inside and outside. Took about 4 minutes to get the food, which was delicious. Burger was decent sized and juicy, fries were crisp and not too salty (we ordered a regular and received almost a pound of fries). The bathrooms were also neat and tidy.
Overall great experience, would definitely recommend stopping in if you're in the area.

Gordy's is the pinnacle of a good quality fast food meal. You will not have a bad experience with anything you order.

Best burgers in Cloquet. Some of my favorite burgers up North.
Not that I have been everywhere and had every burger, but two of my other favorites in the state are Shamrocks in St. Paul and the Breeze Inn in Duluth also make a really good burger.

But! Gordy's is a great spot to stop at on your drive up north. The staff is super friendly and the burgers come out piping hot and fast. Couldn't tell you about the rest of the menu because double cheeseburgers are all I care about and they are some of the best in the whole state of Minnesota.

Favorite place to eat when traveling to the North Shore.....have to stop on our there and again on our way home! Very delicious burgers, fish and chips, cheese curds and shakes! Oh yeah and amazing homemade onion rings!
