Fantastic homemade onion rings and great blackberry milkshake! Wonderful place to stop.

first time here, not sure what all the hype is about, had a cheese burger with everything on it, and onion rings, the rings supposedly to be home made but can tell they're frozen, too perfect looking to be homemade, the food was ok nothing special. super busy, need to expand the building for even more seating.. it's just like a hamburger you'd make at home when you're desperate for something to eat.

A true throwback to the 1950’s. Fantastic theme restaurant with a very full menu. Excellent burgers and fries but much more on the menu. Definitely indulge yourself with a milkshake. Very popular with locals, but my family can’t drive past without making a stop. Plenty of parking. Attached outdoor dog park and play area for kids. Something Cloquet can be very proud of. A multi-generation family business with character. 10/10 would recommend!

Excellent food. Oddly, very attractive staff we noticed. Place a bit run down and older but didn't matter. Was great experience. I highly recommend. Nothing fancy but great food at very very reasonable prices.

Going back to the 50s with great fast food!

I've never had a bad meal here. It can get super busy at certain times but still have never had to wait a long time to get my food. Blackberry shake is the best.

Wow! What a cool and most unique Drive In with such delicious food. Thanks to the recommendation of a friend we tried out Gordy’s on our way to the North Shore. It was so good that we visited it again for the second time in five days.

And with COVID-19 issues what a great place to visit, stay in your vehicle, order your food in vehicle and even on a busy day quickly back to your vehicle with your order. They make social distancing fun. You can get out of your vehicle and eat your food in one of many outdoor picnic table locations.

The Blackberry shakes were so delicious made with real fresh blackberries. The burgers are all good fresh hand pattied. If red meat is not your fancy, then try their Alaskan fish. I am just happy they are not local to our home cause I would visit and eat often.

A friend told us this is a must because of their blackberry and blueberry shakes and their hamburgers. They were right!
With ask the Covid-19 shut-downs, this place was only available for drive through. Boy did they have it down to a science!
After we quickly received and paid for our food, we are at one of the gazebos on their property. Nice availability for those who are not taking home or want to eat in their car... and since we were from OT... super helpful.

Bacon cheese burger was great. The blackberry shake was refreshing. The fries were outstanding.

Great hamburger joint with decent price and service. Big G burger, cheese curds, and onion rings were ok. Our favorite was the blackberry malt/shake and fish & chips.
