Great little local coffee shop with a sleek, industrial feel. Beautiful La Marzocco espresso machine. Straightforward menu and bonus dog treats for your pup (just ask!) My oat milk latte was perfect. Cheers!

Super cute place and like some other reviews said, it's like you have found a hidden gem!

I was looking for a new coffee experience and this was just the place I needed! Upon arrival I was greeted and asked if ai had any questions, baristas were very friendly even while super busy and service was quick!

I ordered a cold brew and the coffee of the day. While I am normally an iced coffee drinker, the coffee of the day was what I continued to enjoy and needed to return for. Also, that vegan brownie was ssssoooo delicious!

About the environment, I appreciated being able to read about the individuals who were supplying the coffee beans from around the world. Personally I am a little bias as I have been abroad to Guatemala and visited La Finca where Campamento Alto is made, so it was a little piece of another place I call home. While indoor seating is provided, I preferred to go outside and sit at one of the picnic tables located in the little patio though their are garden chairs provided in a grassy area to view the train tracks (chain link fence separates in case you think of taking your kiddos!)

Ypsilanti location: Gorgeous old building with easy, free parking in the lot or street. In the summer their lawn is sprinkled with (plastic) Adirondack chairs for lounging out with coffee and wifi.

Their single-origin coffee is on-point for the coffee connoisseur and their seasonal lattes are bomb. Light baked treats are offered.

Two stars because of the service. I rarely visit anymore regardless of their product and location because the baristas are consistently cold, short and unfriendly; as if you’re inconveniencing them. I recommend trying Cafe Liv for coffee and much warmer hospitality.

Amazing customer service and coffee! We always place our orders to be shipped since we are not local. Last time we ordered we accidentally marked as store pickup. We order about monthly for shipping so I guess Ash was able to pick up on this. They contacted us and confirmed it should be shipped and not picked up. I don’t know how it’s even possible to be this attentive. I really appreciate everything you guys do!

It always feels good to support local businesses, and it feels even better when you really like what they offer. Stop in for some beans with background and get a chip for a future beverage. I've learned a bit more about coffee and can finally tell the difference in flavor profiles thanks to here. Mine can get long sometimes, but I think that's way better than the opposite.

Most authentic coffee place in Ypsi. Hyperion KNOWS coffee. Plus what a great vibe and setting next to the Food Coop and Depot Town.

Hyperion Coffee had lived up to its hype as one of the best Roasters in Michigan. It was tucked away in an old building and going to it feels like you are uncovering a great secret. The staff was friendly and the coffee was well worth the hour drive to try. The town was cute and nice to walk in even in less than 20 degree weather.

Five stars across the board. Excellent coffee and pastries, friendly and caring service, and a relaxing atmosphere in a great location in the Depot Town district in Ypsilanti. Prices are a little high, but the quality of the coffee and food, the excellent service, and the charming atmosphere all make it worth it.
