I used to love to come here before they remodeled but now it’s not cozy it’s super dark and the mugs are very odd and not disability friendly. This place has lost all the personality it had and it’s cozy welcoming feeling. I always want to support local but I also would like to be able to feel comfortable and like I’m not going to drop my mug! Still the same drinks but higher prices too.

I used to love Brew, but ever since the menu changed everything went downhill. The cold brew used to be the perfect size (mason jar). Now it's in a tiny cocktail glass. A few sips and it's gone. The new mugs for hot drinks are small and have no handles, so it burns to carry it to your table. The food options were cut back. They did away with avocado toast. The sandwich bread used to be amazing. It changed and is now chewy and burned. Last, but not least, it's overpriced now. Extremely disappointing.

We went to there to buy a cup coffee on April 22, 2023. We tried their chocolate chip and a molasses cookies. The molasses cookie was awesome. The molasses cookie reminded of my grandmother's molasses cookies.

Brew is known to the locals as a great place to work, have a visit with a friend, network, or whatever the reason you need a place to meet, brew can accommodate. The food is fresh. My favorite is the lox of love or the cob salad. Lox of love is their version of bagel and lox. Features spinach, capers, salmon, tomato, cream cheese, and pickled onions. In the summertime, you can sit outside. I like to work from my laptop outside. It's the perfect environment on a warm day.

Love this spot, great food, good beer and drink selections. Also a great morning stop for coffee and pastries. If the Barista Sean is working, be sure to treat yourself to a latte, best cream art in town.

Always loved Brew, been coming every summer since I can remember. Regretfully, they changed their coffee and it's terrible. Tastes like black licorice. So now I just drink beer. Still a cool place and still recommend, just go later and get cocktails.

edit: Coffee still licorice (not drinkable ) and only italian wins. Brew was cool now it’s ruined. Used to be comfortable and friendly, now it’s cold and basic. Go
back to your roots !!!

Earth eggs sandwich- pesto, avacado, spinach, tomato, egg, onion. Soft artisan roll.
Latte.
Crafted with care for the eye and palate.
Atmosphere is a credit to downtown Traverse City, organic but clean and neat.

We stopped in for coffee and loved the caramel latte - not too sweet (they definitely avoided the sticky, syrupy taste). My sister really enjoyed the pumpkin chia she ordered (the chia options were vanilla, spiced, or pumpkin). The atmosphere felt chill and nice, probably due to the friendly service as well as upscale hipster vibes.

I was too busy drinking the coffee to take a picture of it - but hopefully this gives you an idea of the aesthetic. My siblings definitely don’t know I am posting it 😂

I Love Brew, the vibe is great and so are the drinks. I'm especially fond of the "Libations" section of the menu.

The first time I visited was to waste some time prior to a show at the theater next door, and it was great. The seating is comfy, there is exposed brick on the wall, and a nice line of tables.

They also serve food, a few sandwiches, a wrap or two, and some breakfast stuff among other things.

Staff is friendly (the dude with the super long beard is great!). And prices are good too.

My friend and I really enjoyed the bakery items and total ambiance of Brew! I got a Carmel latte that was excellent. Great seating options and nice staff! :)
