Broad Street Cafe

This became a favorite stop inSt. Joe when my husband and I were dating. Each time we're in town we try to stop in.
We've had sandwiches and ate in previously, but today was a quick stop to pick up bagels, cream cheese and iced tea on our way to perform a puppet show in Hudsonville.
The staff, as always, was friendly and efficient despite the long line. The line moved quickly and we were on our way. The bagels and cream cheese were tasty, and the tea was delicious, as always.

Very good bagels, which make a great breakfast sandwich. Apparently not coffee people. Inexpensive, quick service, will become a regular stop.

While the mocha I purchased was pretty good for the price, the service was below expectations. They were quick to attend us, however seemed very uninformed. The cooler does not have a list of prices and while I understand that they may rotate items too often to keep a permanent list, at least let your employees know how much the current ones are. Not one could tell me the price on anything, even the sparkling water. Also, the cookie we purchased wasn't wrapped in a waxed paper so it greased up the bag. Details make the cut, and not having any dulled our experience.

Ate here twice in two days. The food was delicious, and the service was good for how busy they were. Great stop for a quick bite.

We stopped here for a late breakfast / early lunch and I was surprised at how affordable the meal was! The food was delicious. I had a tuna sandwich on a croissant which was very messy and my fiancé had a bagel breakfast sandwich. The interior is a little bland and boring and the food was served on styrofoam (we ate there) so that felt very wasteful. But I suppose they keep their prices low that way!

Been coming here for almost 15 years, great bagels and cream cheese. Highly recommend.

Service was slow. Bacon portion for my wife was puny. Place Needs some tlc. But my sausage egg and cheese bagel sandwich was delicious. Coffee could be better

We enjoy eating here. The food is decent and a good spot to cool off in during the hot summer days. As one of guests commented so much more could be done with the inside to make it as cool as the outside looks. Fresh paint maybe change the lighting? Could be a neat space.
