I wanted to give a 3.5. The food quality was good and my sandwich was good too. The downside is that the eggs for both my sandwich and my wife's meal were not done correctly. I asked for scrambled and she wanted medium and both of ours came back the same, completely runny. 3.5 is the right rating

Been coming here (other location) for years. First time at new location . So disappointed. Ordered eggs Benedict. They no longer poach the eggs. It’s basically a basted “ fried egg”. I am a transplant recipient and said egg needed to be well done. Came with whites a little gelatinous and yolk runny. Had to send back. Upon my recommendation ( because I had the entree twice before and it was so good) my husband ordered the Huevos Rancheros. It wasn’t even luke warm. The food under the egg was topped with ice cold salsa . Yuck ! The Belt ( BLT with an egg) use to boast a 1/2# of bacon. Now just says classic bacon. Guess it’s now just an ordinary Belt instead of an extraordinary one . I also felt the menu was uninspiring. Hope it gets back to the Phoenix Street I use to love…

The Huevos Ranchero is the VERY best! All of the food is wonderful, great bloody marys, awesome staff😊
Love for Food
I travel a lot. On my travels I always look for small homestyle restaurants. Phoenix St., Café is definitely one on my books. I ordered a meat eaters omelette with extra bacon potatoes and a coffee. The bacon was Thick and crisp. The potatoes had really good seasoning in them and the omelette was delicious. They do require masks if you are not seated. This is one place I would definitely come to again. My waitress Shelly has a really good sense of humor and is amazing.

Love love love this brunch spot!! Huge variety of dishes to choose from, regardless if you're into sweet or savory. The meat lovers omelet is bursting with bacon ham and sausage, there may have been more meat than eggs! Super delicious potatoes, love they kept the crispy skins on. Food came out a little slower than expected but we came on Memorial Day so they were slammed. Our server was extremely attentive refilling our water and coffee frequently, they even gave us a coffee cup to go! What a wonderful restaurant, will be coming back every time I visit south haven.

My wife and I came in here for our first stop on our honeymoon and we were wowed by the food and service! I had the three egg broccoli and cheddar omelet; which was superbly prepared. The broccoli was fresh, crisp and added just the right amount of crunch. The potatoes, which I was skeptical about, tasted fantastic - savory and filling. The toast was okay, and my wife's English muffin was passable too. The Phoenix street breakfast with the biscuits and gravy added in was as good as you'd expect for an American breakfast staple. We also tried a Irish coffee and a peach mimosa, the Irish coffee with caramel was sweet, smooth, and a delight while my wife says the peach mimosa was worth the trip by itself! The only thing I could possibly count off for is the seating - the seats nearest the door are awkwardly placed for folks entering the restaurant as well as the hostess station.

Got here early before the crowd and enjoyed a delightful breakfast of chicken and waffles with bourbon maple syrup, blueberry pancakes, chocolate chip pancakes, hot coffee, Irish coffee, Bloody Mary, bacon, eggs! Great service, great food!
