Cafe Julia

Bagel sandwich is awesome, cookies and smoothies are top notch as well. Coffee is also very good. Haven't found anything I haven't loved for breakfast.

Our extended family of 10 came in for lunch on a day that didn’t appear to be busy. Food was very good, but we waited over an hour, which was more than disappointing for a counter service restaurant. Even worse was the customer service. After inquiring several times, no one could explain why our food was taking so long or how much longer it would be, and no effort was made to apologize or compensate for the wait. We will be looking elsewhere for our next visit to South Haven.

They put sugar in my coffee haphazardly. 0/10. It's ruined. I wanted a nice latte with just milk and espresso shots but now my insulin level is in danger from all the sugar they put in my lovely coffee.

This is a simple sandwich shop. However, the wait made me feel as though I was dining at a 5 star restaurant. A simple bagel sandwich took better than 20 minutes to complete. The odd part is that in those 20 minutes you would think they would've taken the time to prepare it properly. Hopefully they were using that time to complete applications for a different job...

I go to Julia's when my family is on vacation in South Haven, and I have always had positive experiences here. The coffee and food are great, the staff are always friendly and accommodating, and the atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable. I recommend Julia's to anyone visiting South Haven!

Their coffee has excellent flavor! It is Uncommon Coffee roasted and they do an amazing job preparing it. Some coffee shops will make a ltte where you can barely taste the coffee flavor, but here all the flavors complement and build off the good coffee taste.

We always look forward to stopping at Cafe Julia when driving in the area. Located not far off highway. It is clean, good coffee, great soup and sandwiches. Staff is friendly. Outdoor seating available or stay in during the winter and watch the activity on the cities ice skating rink.

We are here weekly at least. The staff is the very best. The coffee is mellow and the food is homemade. Pastry sandwiches, cookies, muffins are wonderful, both for variety and flavor, texture and price. Latte, hot chocolate, chai teas...soft drinks. The location by the skating rink in winter and the market during fair weather is a bonus.

Good coffee and pastry experience. Had to stay outside because I had my dog with me but the seating was clean and plentiful. Just wish for a little bit warmer but this is the time of year for cooler weather.

Love meeting friends here. Great coffee. Pleasant atmosphere. It’s nice to have choices for types of pastries. So grateful for Gluten free options.
