Totally agree that it is a little overpriced but for breakfast, it is the best place. The food is delicious and the coffee is great. I got an iced latte and you can specify how you like your coffee. Definitely recommend for a nice treat once in a while.

Worst coffee drink ever. Young lady was unfriendly. I wanted cafe au lait but the young lady could not sell that drink to me because she did not have a button on her computer. Just bad business practice. You could find a button close in price for a quick solution! Then I got outside with my latte and it was not even lukewarm. It pretty much tasted like milk. Where was the espresso? Just enough to change the color and no taste. We had one pastry and that was excellent. Our goal was a good coffee drink. We would never go back. Oh, also quite pricey for two bad drinks.

The food was excellent and the coffee was good. Very nice, quaint ambiance but there is limited indoor seating. It felt a tad like ‘central perk’ from
Friends…with many locals known on a first name basis…very nice

The food and coffee are good. They use local milk which is a big plus. If I was basing my review on simply the quality of the food, it would be a five. However, the owner (who many other reviewers referred to as "the old lady with the gray bangs) is quite unfriendly. My family is from the area and we travel up there every summer to vacation. She was rather impatient when I was trying to decide what to order from the display case. When I politely asked about adding whipped cream or cocoa to my drink, she snapped that they "don't do specialty drinks". Which is fine, I simply asked. It may be that she finds vacationers a nuisance, as I saw her be quite hospitable to locals. Almost a completely different person, actually. Maybe vacationers are too picky or their standards are too high for her taste. Maybe my question struck a nerve with her; that I was being "too picky". However, the prices are comparable to places that do "DO specialty drinks". I'd argue that it's quite odd to be so pricey and yet not add a little something extra or simple as cocoa powder, for that matter. Ironically enough, I probably will go back there again. I don't care that the drinks aren't specialty. It's the only locally-owned coffee shop nearby and the best option when vacationing in the area. But better service from the owner would make coming back worthwhile.

First visit was a 5. Cute little coffee shop with everything you would want. Great coffee & good food. Young man who served us was extremely nice.
Liked it so much we went out of our way to come back the next day. Woman who helped us this time was not friendly & jacked us $6.36 for two medium self-service no frills coffee fills in our travel mugs. I'm not inclined to return no matter how quaint.

Great vegan option for meal and dessert and coffee. Loved the place. Very inclusive atmosphere.

Great atmosphere and service from the employees. Owner not so much. Breakfast burrito was good enough, coffee had the right flavor but on the weak side, definitely at the top of pick range for what's being offered. Wouldn't take much to make this place 5 stars, hope to try it again next season.

I wish I took pictures of the food, but even that won’t do their food justice. If you’re in town I highly recommend this establishment. ALL of the food is super fresh and handmade. There are too many good menu items to mention.

Most expensive latte I’ve ever had and with little flavor. We were on our way through and needed a pick me up and they could have done better. I love that they use fresh milk and the food looked great so maybe stick to the food.

Coffee shop with delicious homemade baked goods and friendly service. I tried a homemade wild strawberry scone; Chris told me the wild strawberries were picked by the owner herself the day before. They had rice and almond milk available. Nice atmosphere.
