Donckers

They have Gluten Free sandwich bread and their tomato basil soup is GF. I had the Athena sandwich, it was pretty good, the bread was a little crumbly so had to eat it pretty quick. Seems like they can make most sandwiches GF. You order upstairs and they give you a rock with you # on it. Neat little place, would definitely come back!

We ordered a Tuna Melt and a Hamburger with grilled onions and blue cheese. Both were very good and the hamburger was one of the best I’ve had in Marquette.

Cute place with a ton of candies, ice cream options and a full restaurant upstairs. Ordered a chicken croissant sandwich with pesto which was awesome. Super friendly service in a casual atmosphere, highly recommend.

We were up in Marquette to visit our friends Jeff and Caitlin and their family and we stopped here for ice cream and candy and had lunch and we had a fantastic time definitely give this place five stars I would give it six but it only gives me the opportunity to give it five come on up enjoy a little donkers.

Dunkers is a very good breakfast place and an excellent candy shop.

Couldn't have had a better breakfast - and such a neat place to visit! The food was executed very well - I had the traditional Hash Smash. The portion was perfect - filling but not overboard, and the price is on point. Three people with drinks and full menu items was around $45. The staff was super friendly and welcoming, and the wait staff was great! Highly recommend if you're in the area!

Donckers is a Marquette institution that is a place the locals swear by, and for good reason. Excellent breakfast and lunch food, and the best chocolates bar none. It is a absolute must if you are in Marquette. Excellent friendly staff, old school soda's, candy, and ice cream too. They get busy sometimes, but only because their service and products are top notch. Ask any local, they will say the same. 😀 125 years in business does not happen by accident, they have attentive owners that run a tight ship.

Summer 2022 update: Still the same excellent service and excellent food/candy/ice cream. An absolute must every year.
