Seabiscuit Cafe

Absolutely delicious! Proportions were very nice size the waitress was kind and friendly. It’s a bit pricey but to be expected on the island.

Great Beer battered Whitefish and chips nice attive staff not a large place and was easy to get a seat .They had about 6 beers on draft and a good bar selection.

Relatively small and pricey, but that's probably not uncommon for this area. Food portions were large and delicious. Server and staff were attentive and friendly. I would definitely recommend.

So glad Seabiscuit was open! So many places were closed on the island for the season yet Google, the sites and even the QR code from our inn said all those businesses were open. Had a delicious tomato bisque, drinks and even shared a sundae with my husband. Staff all wore masks, protected by plexiglass at the bar and were very kind.

Got the white fish and chips. Totally overcooked. I didn't send back because they were obviously understaffed, but the kitchen should be ashamed for putting that on a plate for a customer.
Too bad, everyone else's food looked fine.

We went to the seabiscuit Cafe after checking into the grand hotel, we had a beyond underwhelming experience at the grand hotel and at their restaurant. We were so much more impressed with everything at this restaurant. We had fantastic food and drinks and our server Nick really made our night so much better. He was so nice and friendly, despite having multiple other tables he took the time to talk with us and was super attentive. Especially right now with the employee shortage it was so refreshing to have a server who was so great at what he does.

My husband and I were here for breakfast this past Thursday morning. Thankfully, there was no wait. Lisa was our server, and it seemed like she may have been serving more than the usual number of tables. However, she acknowledged us right away and kept us informed regarding our order. She is a fantastic server and the wait for our food/drinks really wasn't that bad at all. She was kind and professional and while the food was maybe a tad pricey, it was very good. After having a quick/small breakfast at a coffee shop the day prior, this was a really nice way of spending our last morning on the island. The decor/ambiance was great, and I think we'd return here during a future visit!

Wowed by dynamic bartender and waitstaff during a slammed lunch hour! They all get top awards. My husband had been here before, with a person who works on the Island in the summer and always goes here. They had a wait for a table, but there were two spots at the bar they said we could take right away. The bartender immediately asked for orders and slapped that Sprite and lemonade on the bar almost right away, all the while putting in our orders for fish and chips (whitefish). We watched everyone in action and were very impressed with their ability to multitask. Especially outgoing was the bartender who was all the time mixing drinks, managing other barkeeping duties, and also talking to people in a very friendly manner but never being distracted for a minute. I want to thank the two women who made sure our drinks were refreshed and who whisked our plates away when we were finished.

The whitefish was excellent. This order comes with two big fish fillets, deep fried in batter, and fries with the skins on, and a small cup each of tartar sauce and coleslaw, with some lemon wedges. We had just the right amount of chips, but we couldn't finish them all. (Right amount meaning, not a full plate of fries with a little bit of fish). If you don't eat a lot for lunch and plan on touring the island or shopping, I'd say this is a lot of food!

Excellent food! Perch tacos were superb! Whitefish platter was excellent, seasoned perfectly!
