The seabiscuit cafe is by far the best restaurant in the island! We went to many establishments while in the island and always found ourself back at the seabiscuit. Good food, drinks and service! Only complaint would be overall for the whole island - what’s with all the reggae music? Not the vibe we expect when on Mackinac Island.

First place we hit on the island. The service was 4 stars and the food was really good. Atmosphere was great and the world famous derby burger I was not sure why it was world famous as it was OK but I would not say it would be famous. It was ok to visit but nothing that I would say wow.

My kids ordered lunch. I had eaten so I got a ManMosa and man oh man was it delicious! Kids ordered Fried Mac n Cheese Balls and onion rings. Both were tasty. The Mac n cheese balls come in Marinara so ask for it on the side of you're not sure you'll like it. They were quite tasty though.

The food was excellent! We had fish & chips with the tomato bisque soup. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful despite the place being packed.

Great staff! They were super busy and still kept on us. Delicious and massive, face sized sandwiches. Definitely try their nachos!

We came back a year later, wow, how time flies!!!! My wife had the whitefish and fries dinner, I had the whitefish ruben sandwich. Both were good, but nothing that we could call special. Both items were bland in taste, the homemade tarter sauce was excellent and really helped out the whitefish. The ruben was the same, but came with coleslaw between the whitefish and ryebread, this made for an excessively damp, drippy sandwich which kind of forced me to eat fast and not get a chance to enjoy the food. Prices were pretty much the same as other restaurants on the Island, in the $20+ range per meal. It was an ok dinner tonight....😐

The fish and chips were great here and the atmosphere felt very cozy and warm! A great place to stop in and eat after walking the main street of fudge shops and boutiques.

FANTASTIC food, fun decor, great music, and friendly service make this a must-stop! I had the derby burger with Cajun onion rings and my wife had the pulled pork grilled cheese with sweet potato fries. Our server, Lisa, was GREAT too, with helpful suggestions and excellent service!
