The Urban Cup

Lovely, friendly people, great coffee, looking forward to some future visits! They asked for my name and were very excited to hear I was from the neighborhood. I appreciate that they are adding food from the soup spoon, which is incredible. looking forward as they grow and get settled in.

I read an article about this coffee shop in one of the local papers...maybe City Pulse? I was suprised by the claim made regarding dark roast coffee. They say they dont offer dark roast out of respect for the bean and the roaster. They find that a large percentage of people are looking for the full, robust flavor of a dark roast, but not the bitter aspect. As an avid dark roast drinker, I wanted to try this place out to expand my coffee experience and test this theory. I walked in with an open mind and walked out with the most bitter cup of coffee I possibly have ever tasted. I'm not sure what happened. The urban cup left a very bitter taste in my mouth, I only took a few sips and threw it in the trash. Not impressed, not swayed by their claim. If you are going to make such bold statements, back them up please.

Great little coffee shop. Will be back! Taking one star away for pretty unfavorable pricing for a 6 or so ounce espresso drink.

This is a great little place. It had fantastic soups and sandwich deals. My wife and I loved it. I had the corned beef sandwich and the seafood chowder. Delicious!

Find this place. It's tucked back behind M43 Fitness. Grab some great coffee and really good food. This is real food. Not the packaged stuff you might find at the chain shops.

Amazing soup. Did you change the seafood chowder? It doesn't taste as rich and buttery as it use too. Still good though. Need bread bowls

Yum! My two favorites - coffee and ice cream - under one roof! Fast, friendly service. 5/5 would recommend!
