Outside Coffee

This is my favorite coffee place in Grand Rapids for hanging out. The year-round outdoor seating is so refreshing. It’s fun to sit for a while and read, answer emails, or enjoy watching birds and dogs. (That’s the introvert in me talking - it’s also a great place to meet a friend or colleague.) The coffee is quite good, although I find the flavored drinks too sweet or synthetic-tasting, so I stick to plain espresso-based drinks. There are a handful of places in GR with better coffee but there’s no competition with the atmosphere.

I recently visited Outside Coffee Company in Grand Rapids, MI, and I can't express enough how much I enjoyed my experience there. The selection of beverages was impressive, but it was their lattes that truly stood out. Each sip was a delightful blend of flavors, leaving me craving for more. Whether you're a coffee aficionado or someone seeking a unique and delicious drink, Outside Coffee Company has you covered.

The real star of Outside Coffee Company, however, is its enchanting atmosphere. Nestled in an outdoor garden/courtyard, the ambiance is simply magical. From cozy seating to fire pits and hammocks, every element has been thoughtfully arranged to create a warm and inviting space. The moment I settled into one of their seats, I felt completely at ease and surrounded by natural beauty. It's the kind of place that makes you want to stay for hours, enjoying the peacefulness and serenity of the surroundings.

Another aspect that I truly appreciated about Outside Coffee Company is their dog-friendly policy. As a pet owner, being able to bring my furry friend along was a huge plus. Seeing other dogs happily exploring the garden while their owners sipped on their coffees added an extra layer of joy to the experience. The combination of great beverages, a stunning outdoor setting, and a dog-friendly environment makes Outside Coffee Company a must-visit spot for anyone seeking relaxation and a welcoming atmosphere.

Great place to get a coffee! Been here in the winter , summer, rainy fall, always good. Shelters are usually occupied, not sure if they are reserved, last winter they were. It was raining heavy one day and the occupants had mercy on me and said that I could join them. Fantastic. Today it’s very cold, fire pit is warming !

This is one of the most adorable coffee shops I’ve been to. I wish I had more time to enjoy a hammock or a seat by a fire pit. If I lived in the area, I would come here often.

I’m new to Grand Rapids but I’m already delighted to have found such a charming place. Some of the best coffee I’ve had in a while and in such a lovely environment. I’ve only been here two weeks and I’ve already visited three times! I’m excited to try some of their more daring flavors like Last Mango in Paris :)

Outside coffee company is the kind of place You hope to find when you visit a city . One of my favorite features of Grand Rapids because it has character and charm . This place is fun, relaxed, the coffee and dog treats are good . I’m so happy that it’s open year-round because so much of this state gets sleepy in the winter.

Girlfriend took me here as a treat while in the area, and it did not disappoint. The espresso was smooth and perfectly extracted. The vibe was relaxed, and i appreciated being able to have our dogs at the location. My only real critique is that the home made syrup i wish was a little stronger tasting they used in our lattes but it lets the coffee shine through more so it truly is a minor gripe

This is one of the best places in town to get a coffee so long as you're dressed to enjoy the weather. The igloos they assemble in the winter make it the only place to properly enjoy coffee in a 'snow globe' setting.

There is always something additional going on as well - sometimes live music, other times there have been food vendors. Last time I got crepes!

How cute! Cute merch, cute coffee, sweet baristas. Green caramel apple latte was suprisingly delicious - not normally fond of sweet lattes but went out on a limb and was so fond of the taste!!! 🫶🏼

Our drinks were wonderful and we were able to get an igloo with heat which was awesome. We did have to wait quite a while for our drinks, but they were pretty busy for a Sunday afternoon, so we didn't mind and weren't in a hurry. Definitely not a quick/ drive-through type of place but more of a chill and sip and visit kind of place. The drip coffee is excellent, I was a little bummed they were out of a couple of the specials.
