Michigan House Cafe and Brew Pub

Best food of our vacation! Had the Michigan House burger and the drunkin pork sandwich. Amazingly good! Loved our waitress Jackie. Jackie, I want to be your friend! Great history and atmosphere.

Took carry out. Food was ready when promised and was excellent. We had the House Burger and the Pulled Pork Wrap. Plenty of fries and homemade chips were included.

Good beer, enjoyed the Beer Cheese soup and homeade roll. Fish was ok and the Drunken Pig didn't have much flavor, the homemade fries were really good!

If you are using a menu you found online, the prices are all completely wrong. Burgers are 12 bucks not 10 and there appitizers are way over priced. Got the chips and dip, menu said 6 dollars, ended up being 9 and there's hardly any dip! The burgers are decent but over priced for the quality, and they didn't come with lettuce tomato and onion like the menu said. Will probably save my money and eat somewhere else next time.

Stopped by for the wings,their one of the only places that serve them in Calumet, and their decent. The waitstaff however leaves a lot to be desired. From outright rude to complete disorganization and we were 1 of 2 tables. I can see forgetting the sauces and ketchup when you super busy. If you have time to stare out the window you really shouldn't be bringing food to the table with the requested accompaniments.

Would give a zero star waited a hour for food for not get get it and over charged drinks and was told that they were down a cook to try to justify why it was taking so long but they didn't do anything also to point out they weren't busy will definitely never go back or refer them to anyone

I've been there a couple of times. They are always out of most of their house beers. I ordered their home made chips to start last time I was there... They were so old tasting that I decided not to order a meal. Awesome building, but that's about it.

Friendly service. Great ambiance. And the best chili ever! We're 10+ hours from the Michigan house, but it's a must stop on every trip to the Keweenaw.

Great setting. Reasonably priced. Order your burger less done than normal. Pretty past medium for what I ordered.
