Michigan House Cafe and Brew Pub

Couldn’t have had a better first experience at the Michigan House Cafe. Our food and service by Erin was absolutely top notch! Experience was great, but our server made it next level. Thank you Erin! Would recommend to anyone traveling to the UP in the future

We loved this little restaurant! Great burgers, decor and the waitress was amazing! She was so funny and helped us with ideas of where to go and what to do in/near Calumet.

Cute place and nice service. Food was ok I guess is the best way to put it, but I've only been there once with only 4 people so we didn't sample the whole menu.

Went for my friend's 70th birthday. It had been quite a while since the last time I was in. I've always enjoyed Michigan House over the years, and this time was no exception. The food was delicious (I had the blackened salmon wrap) and the server was attentive and friendly. The homemade chips are super. All of we had a good time and left quite full.

This is the first time that I've been disappointed with Michigan House. Being local, I eat here regularly. I ordered a Ferganburger medium done. A third of the burger was medium and 2/3 was rare. Being ground meat, I didn't eat the rare section. I left it on the plate and told the waiter why. There was no apology nor reduction in the bill. I filled up on the wonderful fries on my husband's plate. His medium burger was perfect. I think this is a one off, but I was disappointed that they didn't own the mistake. I probably won't get a burger there again.

Great chili, fries and beer and just a nice yooper place (unique interior) to hang out!

First time visitor to this establishment. Good food, good service (they made special accommodations for six people) and cold beer. Would certainly eat here if we’re every in the area again.

Very quaint interior. Friendly and helpful staff. Delicious ham and cheese panini with homemade chips! Good home brewed IPA as well.

Only tried once as a tourist basically. But seemed good. The atmosphere was cool. There was a lot to look at on the walls etc. And the food was "fine", but not really impressive. I had a pork sandwich, which wasn't great. The french fries and homemade chips (appetizer) was good.
