Cafe Rosetta

I love this place so much. The art and table decorations are always changing and always so cute. The drinks are tasty (and Matthew's latte art is beautiful as well!!), and there are some really great, healthy food options. I especially love all the dairy-free options they have on drinks and food. My favorite place in Calumet!

Wonderful cafe in Calumet that has moved to larger digs down the street from where most of the photos are. Enjoyed a pastry and a mocha and some phone recharging time. Good variety of seating in the new space and free parking next door at the visitors center for the national park. Coffee works across the street was very nice, too, so good choices abound

NOT ONE EMPLOYEE WEARING A MASK, including the woman bringing food to tables and picking up dishes. Such a disappointment, as I'm a visitor to the area and have enjoyed both the food and ambiance multiple times prior to the pandemic. If staff cannot be trusted to take health precautions seriously, how can a would-be customer trust that anything coming out of the kitchen will be up to health code?
I would have loved to treat my elderly grandmother to lunch, but we had to leave and find somewhere else because Cafe Rosetta does not appear to value the health of their vulnerable patrons. We were both very disappointed.
If you need a coffee fix, Copper World across the street is also family-owned AND THEY WEAR MASKS. Coffee is just as good and, in my opinion, tastes better without the side of Covid-19 risk.

Delicious healthy feel good food! From hearty sandwiches on Bev's homemade bread, to yummy breakfast burritos and a variety of homemade bakery. They also have a lot of Gluten Free options, for breakfast, lunch and desserts! If you are every going through Calumet, make sure to stop at this little gem of a cafe! Oh yeah, and don't forget to try their coffee drinks!

Wonderful food, very friendly staff. Food came out in a timely manner. Very clean place. Nice music and a quiet place to go when your first waking up. Also wonderful selection of coffee and other drinks. They serve gluten free food which is great. Very nice bright place with wonderful artwork.

My wife and I recently explored the Keweenaw and stubbled upon this place looking for breakfast and some coffee. When we walked in we noticed two things that maybe should have advised us to leave. 1. a very confusing sign about mask wearing and both individuals behind the counter not wearing masks properly or at all. But, we believe despite someone's personal opinions a business still deserves a shot. The longer we were there the worse it got. The person that took our order had her nose sticking out of her mask, the person making coffee was wearing her mask around her chin. After placing our order the person who took our order removed her mask and never put it back on. They both were less than friendly; not a single smile from any employee. We tried to be friendly and polite as we believe all people should be treated. As more customers came in we noticed we were the only ones using masks properly. It's not a large space social distancing was not a thing. Both employees and many customers were walking around freely without masks, the person who brought us our food from the kitchen had her mask around her chin. The entire time we were there no one cleaned or sanitized a single table. Now to the food and coffee. The coffee we got (mocha and traditional latte) were pretty good. No issues there. I ordered the breakfast special which was $10 for burnt scrambles eggs, underdone hash browns, two of the smallest pieces of bacon I've ever seen and stale toast. My suggestion...if you're in Calumet and you want a coffee place that cares that you are there, cares about you as a human being and cares about coffee go across the street.

I love this place. I always get great service and the food is outstanding. This is NOT a fast food restaurant, it is a QUALITY food restaurant. So sit down and relax. If you need GF, this is the place for you too!

Despite signs on the door to wear masks, clientele and staff alike ignored the directive. Zero people inside the cafe wore masks this afternoon - and the cafe was filled. I have enjoyed going to the Cafe Rosetta but will not return until staff begin to wear masks and are serious about their customers doing so as well.

Now this is a great place. Very honest and great memory. I went in once and forgot some cookies I bought. Weeks later I went back. They told me and gave me replacements. I never mentioned it. The best GF bakery around. The flavor and quality is awesome.

Wonderful surprise. Excellent food!! Great spot near the National Historic site in Calumet. Clean. Fast service. Great vegetarian options!! We ended up stopping to eat 3 times on our visit. Just couldn’t get enough.
